Ivy burst out in laughter, not expecting Heaven's answer. But at this point, Ivy thought that would be something Heaven would say. "Alright." Ivy sighed as she checked her tiny wristwatch. "I didn't know it's been three hours. How can time run so fast when I'm with you?"

Ivy chuckled as she pushed herself up. Heaven also stood from her seat, planning to walk her friend out. Not that Heaven had a choice. Mercy was roaming around the garden and if Ivy went on her own, she could imagine Ivy running back to the pavilion they were in.

"Do you need help?" asked Ivy, but she already rushed to Heaven's side and held her arms. The latter flashed her a smile.

"She's a bit heavy, so thank you."

"You're welcome." Ivy gazed down and was still astounded by how big Heaven's stomach was. "Are you sure it's just one baby?"

"She's that healthy. What are you saying?"

"I think it's bigger than it was supposed to be." Ivy shivered as they started walking out of the pavilion. "This is why I don't plan on having children."

"Huh?" Heaven turned her head to her friend. "Why?"

"I don't know. I just don't think I'm capable of having a child and raising this child into a decent human being."

Heaven kept her eyes on her friend, treading carefully on the pathway. "Well, if that is what you think. That's fine."

"But who knows?" Ivy shrugged. "Maybe, in the future, I'll reconsider. For now, I just accepted to myself that I might grow old as your children's godmother. Someone who comes to every family dinner, drunk with wine, and showering them with all the cash I got."

Heaven laughed as she imagined Ivy as a wealthy single aunt during a family gathering. After all, the Zhu family always invited Ivy. And even if she wasn't, Heaven would surely invite her closest friend. However, as she laughed, Heaven felt something hot trickling between her thighs.

"Wait." Heaven stopped as she squeezed Ivy's arm. "I think I peed…"

Both women gazed down slowly, only to see liquid on the pathway. Heaven peed due to laughing?

"That's not what a pee looks like." Ivy shook her head suspiciously before she gazed up. "I think… your water just broke."

"What…?" Heaven's pupils dilated as she looked down once again. "My water broke?"

At that very moment of realization, Heaven didn't panic or feel excited. Instead, she went blank. Her heart, however, suddenly raced at the thought.

"Heaven," Ivy called, but Heaven didn't move, frozen on the spot. She shook the latter's arm, but Heaven still didn't move. "Heaven — goodness!"

Ivy bit her thumb in distress, not knowing what to do at the second. But in the next moment, she caught the button in Heaven's grasp. Without thinking twice, Ivy immediately snatched the small device and pressed the red button.

The red button meant emergency, right? Not the green one.

Ivy flinched at the voice he heard, turning her head in the noise's direction. The second she did, her irises went wide at the countless people rushing in the garden from all directions. There was even an alarm ringing inside the house as if there was some sort of wildfire going on.

"What… is going on?" Ivy blinked, catching a few of them coming in, armed.

She almost jumped as she heard a growl nearby. Turning her head, Ivy froze upon seeing Mercy walking in their direction, letting out low growls as if she were about to tear Ivy apart.

"Dom…" whispered Ivy, stupefied. "Just how paranoid had you become?"

"Young Madam!"

Just then, Butler Fu jogged his way to the two women standing still in the pathway. His pace slowed down as he approached, raising a hand as a signal for everyone to calm down.

"Young Madam, what happened…?" was the first thing Butler Fu asked, only to see that Ivy was holding a small device. "Ah…"

"Butler Fu, what the hell is Dominic eating?" Ivy's lips quivered, and then she shook her head to get herself together. "Doesn't matter! Heaven's water broke, and she just went blank!"

Butler Fu snapped his eyes back to Heaven. The latter slowly raised her head, revealing her pale countenance.

"Butler Fu, I think I'm going to give birth," came out in a weak voice. "I'm really… about to birth a child for real."

Meanwhile, in the LYON Group Headquarters…

The newly renovated floor was filled with people taking calls and looking at various locations on their screens. Their fingers were gliding to their keyboards as if their life depended on their work.

"What happened!?"

Just then, the door was kicked open. Coming in was the frantic Dominic, rushing inside to see what the emergency was about.

"Mr. Zhu, the alarm came from the young madam's device…" said one of the employees while still working on his computer. "We've sent a team to check on the matter…"

Dominic's heart thudded against his chest as his jaw tightened. His wife was almost around the time she would give birth. If anyone did something to her… His eyes burned at the thought.

"Sir!" Dane came to Dominic's side, raising a phone to him. "It's Butler Fu!"

Deep lines appeared between Dominic's brows as his eyes fell on the phone. His mind immediately thought of any bad news Butler Fu would give him. Even so, he didn't hesitate to pick up the phone and place it in front of his ear.

"Butler Fu—" Dominic couldn't even continue his sentence as he heard one sentence from the other end of the line. His eyes slowly dilated as he held his breath, repeating in a whisper.

"She's… going to give birth?"
