[Bonus chapter]Halloween is approaching
Fig looked over at the person in front of him to see Mercy's shadow approaching. When he saw Mercy was about to appear in the hallway, he tapped the person's shoulder standing in front of him. He kept tapping it until the person in front of him looked back out of irritation. 0
"What —" the person whispered-yelled, only to hold his breath abruptly at the sight of the fat man behind him and the pistol on his forehead.
"My big sis likes her cat so much. She used to have an allergy so she couldn't keep a pet, so she really treasures Mercy so much," Fig shared in an amicable tone, earning everyone's attention as they looked back.
They instinctively turned around with their guns at Fig when they saw the fat bodyguard standing behind them instead of sleeping on the couch.
But alas…
Before they could even do anything, Fig already shot the person's forehead before shooting the next person next to him.
GRRR!
In front of them was a mad pig shooting them and behind them, Mercy roared before jumping at the captain, biting his neck mercilessly.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
*******
BANG BANG BANG!
When shots were fired inside, the armed men guarding the outside of the north wing looked back. They had heard a gunshot many times and they wouldn't mistake the sound of it. The people surrounding the area looked at each other, wondering if they should check what was going on inside. However, they were supposed to be in their post to make sure their colleagues could get out of the north wing easily.
They looked at each other once again, torn between checking what was going on inside or staying in their post.
"Check what's happening," said a man under his breath. "We'll guard this area. Help them if they need a backup."
"Yes!" A few people nodded and four of them marched away to see what was going on inside.
This mission was supposed to be easy. The chances of a shootout were low. After all, their targets were some elderly and children. People in this place were already drugged, and thus, everyone should be sound asleep. There was no need to open fire unless it was necessary.
As the four men left their post, what they didn't know was someone was watching them from the roof above them. Gray slowly peeled a lollipop and then shoved it inside his mouth. He kept the wrapping in between his fingers, crumpling it in his hand, before throwing it at the people below him.
"Huh?"
When the wrapper landed on one of the men's heads, he raised his hand over his head. Deep lines appeared between his brows as he looked at his hand, only to see a wrapper in his grip.
"What the…" the man instinctively took a step and looked up to see where that wrapper had come from. The moment he caught a person squatting on top of the low roof over them, his pupils dilated
"Heh." Gray sneered for a moment while picking up the rifle lying just beside him. "This is annoying. I'm doing all the work, and yet, getting beaten up is all it takes to get some recognition and credit. Fuck it!"
Without wasting a breath, Gray opened fire and shot the person down even before the man could do anything. The man fell to the ground with a loud thud, earning the rest of the guards' attention. Even those who were heading to check what was happening inside stopped at the noise.
Since Gray was on the roof, they had to take a few steps away from the residence to see him. Unfortunately, they barely caught a glimpse of him before they fell into their demise. It was a one-shot, one-kill scenario, with every bullet from Gray going through their heads and having a headshot streak.
Bodies fell one after another, tainting the lush green, red. Some were able to shoot the man on the roof but to no avail. Gray simply ran on the roof to avoid the bullets, and even when he was dodging, everyone could tell he was simply wasting their time.
That wicked demon running on the roof was simply playing with them. That was proven when Gray raised his gun once more, firing back, and never missing a shot. How could he miss? They were too close, and these idiots weren't even moving away from their spot. Even if they move, what was the point? They were too slow. Thus, in no time, the right area of the north wing was wiped out.
"See?! I'm amazing and cool! I don't need to get beaten up to show how heroic I am!" Gray stood on top of the roof as he threw a huge fit. It was as if he was just now venting out his suppressed frustrations since the night before. "This is unfair! Ugh! Why is this so annoying?!"

"See?! I'm amazing and cool! I don't need to get beaten up to show how heroic I am! This is unfair! Ugh! Why is this so annoying?!"
Princess glanced up on instinct as she could hear Gray's voice in her vantage point as if he was just right beside her. She shook her head and sighed before snapping the neck she was holding in front of her.
"Well, I can't blame him," she muttered as the man fell to her feet. "He really likes playing with her children and even wants to be called uncle."
Another shallow breath slipped past her nostrils as her eyes fell down. Her gaze immediately landed on the person on her feet before her eyes veered to the people lying lifeless around the area. If Gray wiped all the people on the other side, it was the same for Princess. Although she did it the Reaper's way.
"I think everyone already forgot were assassins and not just a bunch of rogues," she muttered as she dusted her hands off, kicking the body near her feet. Princess didn't care about the people on the ground, walking over them as they still hadn't finished the job. There were still people around the residence, and she had to deal with them as soon as possible.
'I hope they were okay,' she thought on her way, catching a person's shadow not far away. 'Good thing she sent them away because it'll be traumatizing if they see countless bodies decorating the hallway. Well, Halloween is approaching — I guess it fits the theme.'
