Tongque wanted to say something, but hesitated.

She wanted to remind the sacred lady that when she first returned, the rumor she spread was that the crown prince was deeply in love with her. Now, however, she and Feng Wu were competing over the crown prince…

Zuo Qingluan glared at Tongque. "What's on your mind? Are you laughing at me?!"

She sounded frustrated.

Tongque sighed inwardly, but she feigned a terrified tone and knelt down. "Miss Qingluan, I don't know anything…"

Zuo Qingluan took a deep breath.

She forced herself to calm down.

She told herself, "Zuo Qingluan, you're the best! You have the True Phoenix Blood, and you're the one His Royal Highness is going to marry! Other women can never threaten your position!"

Tongque was speechless.

Even the vendors outside know what you want! she thought.

Zuo Qingluan stressed, "He promised that he would marry me. That's why I'm doing this."

Tongque could only keep nodding.
