Because Duan Chaoge, the new student, killed a Whiten Lion Elephant with one strike.

Chaoge leaped into the air again. While the Whiten Lion Elephant was slowed down by the Fire Dragon Rod, she hit it on the head.

Its head exploded, and the beast fell into a heap on the ground.

Mu Qianqian was astonished.

She involuntarily grabbed Sun Jingyu's hand. "Jingyu, look…"

Chaoge's reaction was beyond her imagination.

Sun Jingyu smirked. "She only killed two beasts. It's not a big deal."

Zi Ling was amazed.

She knew that Chaoge was better than she was, but she never expected that with the help of the Fire Dragon Rod, Chaoge could do such amazing things.

She gave Chaoge a thumbs up. "Chaoge, you're much better than any of the Class E students."

Mu Qianqian was displeased.

Any of the Class E students? What was that supposed to mean?

Three more Whiten Lion Elephants arrived.

Mu Qianqian smirked. She didn't believe that Chaoge could fight off all three fully-developed beasts.

Chaoge charged at the Whiten Lion Elephants before they could make their move. She jumped up and struck one of them.

Instinct told her that if she chose the Whiten Lion Elephant that was at the front, the other two would immediately surround her.

But if she chose the one at the rear, the other two would need time to react.

Her instinct was correct.

The third Whiten Lion Elephant didn't expect to become the first target, and its head cracked open before it had time to react.

By the time the other two Whiten Lion Elephants realized what had happened and came after Chaoge, Zi Ling had arrived with her sword, shouting, "Chaoge, just like before!"

She stalled one of the beasts for Chaoge, who would come to help her after she killed the other one.

After the first round, they worked even better together this time.

Zi Ling said, "It's not a lot, but it'll give you enough points. We hunt Whiten Lion Elephants quite often, so I know how many beasts each team can kill on average.

"There are 300 teams in total, and killing five Whiten Lion Elephants will put our team in the top 200."

Zi Ling was an average student of Class E, and her team was usually ranked around 200.
