They soon ran into the first wave of Spirit Stone Worms.

All three of them were Level 8 Spiritual Lords.

Feng Wu rolled her eyes at him. "Don't you need them?"

Chen Ziyun said, "You need to kill 4,000 worms. I think you need these three more than I do."

Chen Ziyun glanced at her. He had never met such an arrogant girl before.

He killed the three Spirit Stone Worms without hesitation and handed the crystal cores to Feng Wu. "Take them."

Feng Wu said, "I don't really need them…"

Chen Ziyun said, "I'm offering them to you."

Feng Wu said, "Alright." She didn't want to owe him any favors, but he just didn't get it.

Chen Ziyun said in resignation, "Why did you give everybody a paper crane?"

Feng Wu had given each team member a paper crane before they parted ways.

The others had been embarrassed to receive them.

Elder Mei had just said that the paper crane was useless, but Feng Wu gave them out again. The others felt it would be unfriendly of them to turn down the paper cranes, but they felt foolish accepting them.

Chen Ziyun asked, "Did you give one to Elder Wu?"

Feng Wu said, "Yes, I did."

Chen Ziyun said, "Elder Mei said the paper crane wouldn't work. Why do you…"

Feng Wu looked into his eyes. "It'll work."

Chen Ziyun said in resignation, "What should I say to make you understand?"

Wang Xiao sounded cheerful. "Ziyun, we just ran into some Spirit Stone Worms and killed 50 of them. I think our group may win this time!"

Elder Wu told them that the captain of the team for the competition would be chosen from the winning group.
