Although the Soaring Wing wasn't an imperial ship, it was still a big one. The deck was narrow at two ends, and there was a courtyard in the middle. There were statues, trees, and plants, as well as wooden tables and chairs where one could sit down and have some tea.1

The chief mate frowned.

He looked at Qin Qi. "Are you really the second son of Lord Nanfeng?"

Qin Qi flapped his fan and looked down at the first mate.

The first mate hesitated. If the passenger was from Lord Nanfeng's family… That was a problem.

He couldn't make the decision, so he had to summon the captain.

The chief officer's duty was to supervise the daily work of the deck, and the captain's responsibility was to manage and steer the ship.

The captain's surname was Wu, and he was soon escorted out.

He saw the token Qin Qi handed him and knew that the latter was the second son of the Qin family. Despite his bad luck, he still smiled obsequiously. "Young Master Qin, would you like to talk inside?"

Captain Wu was frightened. "Spirit Stones? So many…"

Qin Cai said, "Of course. Earl Nanfeng isn't just anybody. Do you think my young master will travel with gold coins? He uses spiritual stones, of course!"

Captain Wu frowned. "Have you checked everything? Is it really missing?"
