In the library on the second floor, Zeng Jun was sitting in a chair next to the desk reading something.

"Hello, Director Zeng," Xia Ning and Lin Nan said together.

Seeing Xia Ning and Lin Nan coming in, he put down the book and stood up to nod at them. "You are here. Come over here and take a seat." As he spoke, he stood up and walked towards the window.

On the ground near the window, there was a teapot and some cups. Next to them were three mats. Xia Ning walked over directly.

Director Zeng and Lin Nan sat across from each other and Xia Ning was sitting in the middle. So it was her responsibility to make the tea.

When the water was boiling, Xia Ning first started by washing the teapot and cups, followed by rinsing the tea. Then she started to make the tea.

Both Director Zeng and Lin Nan did not talk. They just stared at her quietly, but her movements were so calm and not rushed at all.

Xia Ning handed the tea to Director Zeng and Lin Nan. She smiled at the two. "After you."

Lin Nan took a sip as well and said to Xia Ning with a smile, "The tea smells great. I didn't know that you know how to make proper tea."

Xia Ning smiled slightly. "I learned a little before. I haven't done this in a long time. My skills are rusty." Then she looked to Zeng Jun across her and nodded. "Of course, Director Zeng can decide if it tastes good or not."

Lin Nan heard that and put the teacup on the table. His eyes moved between Xia Ning and Zeng Jun. If he did not notice anything now, he would not have been able to stay in this circle for so long.

Zeng Jun saw the tea in the teacup and said coldly, "Being able to make tea does not guarantee good acting skills."

"You can only know if the tea is good or not after you drink it." Xia Ning curled her lips. "As for acting skills, they are the same."

Director Zeng looked at her with sharp eyes. "But why would I pick you? There are many people who have better acting skills than you!"

"Of course, it's because I'm a good fit for this role. I don't think Director Zeng would mess around with your own movie." Xia Ning held the teacup and took a sip. Her lips curled up slightly. "Most importantly, no one is more familiar with the role than me."

Lin Nan turned to Xia Ning and felt that she looked very strange at this moment. But somehow, there was some familiarity in her.
