Xia Ning smiled at Lin Nan across the table and said, "Looks like you've prepared everything, Brother Lin. If I did not come with you tonight, were you planning to come here by yourself?"

"I thought you'd come!" Lin Nan stood up and poured some tea for Xia Ning, as well as for him.

Xia Ning held the teacup and raised it to Lin Nan. "Thank you, Brother Lin, for your help in advance."

"No need to mention it." Lin Nan raised his cup and looked at Xia Ning with a smile. "You are brilliant enough. All you need is an opportunity to be famous."

Xia Ning took back her smile. "Many people are brilliant enough but just missing this kind of opportunity. That's why they are buried."

The atmosphere between the two got better and better and they had a great time at dinner.

After dinner, when Xia Ning was ready to pay, she realized that Lin Nan had paid already.

The man walked in front of the group. The handsome face was a bit cold as usual and the haute couture suit outlined his perfect body. His entire body was as noble as a king. The others next to him were following him and trying to say something to him. His eyes fell onto Xia Ning all of a sudden.
