When Xia Ning woke up in the morning, she felt distinctly different, for she could hear a steady, regular beat near her ears. She opened her eyes slowly. What she saw was a man's solid chest.2

With her hands embracing his waist tightly, they looked extremely intimate.

Realizing what had happened last night, Xia Ning trembled, withdrew her hands instinctively and wanted to move away.

All of a sudden, a big hand pressed her against her waist. His low voice sounded above her head, "Are you awake?"

Xia Ning looked up only to meet his serene eyes. She nodded. She tried to move aside to separate from him a little, but he obviously would not let her go.

Qiao Yu bent his head to look at her as he asked softly, "Are you tired?"

The question made Xia Ning shudder. It was because she answered this very question that she did not wake up until now.

She bent her head as she asked in a small voice, "What time is it now?"

"It's nine-thirty." Qiao Yu replied.

"It's already nine-thirty?" Xia Ning exclaimed loudly. She immediately sat up with a start. By now, Enoch and Qiao Yu's mother must have gotten up. But she and Qiao Yu hadn't got up yet. Both of them would know what had happened last night, which was too shameful.

With her act, the blanket covering her instantly fell down. Her skin was exposed to the air, she instantly shuddered and hurried to pull the blanket to cover herself.

Next to her, Qiao Yu laughed in his deep voice, "It doesn't matter. My mother will take good care of Enoch. She will be the happiest to know our intimate relationship."

Staying silent on the bed for three minutes, Xia Ning directly got up and went to the bathroom. The woman in the mirror looked radiant and joyful.
