Harvesting Tyrant

"It is not easy to kill me, Human; I am Tyrant, not some puny Emperor!" It declared loudly, and the runes on its body behind shine brighter as it tried to move, but no matter what it does, my roses and strings would not let it move even an inch.1

Suddenly, a resolute expression appeared on its face, and the next moment a powerful aura shot out from its body. This aura is so powerful that it was able to move its body slowly.

It had started to burn its core, and seeing that, I did not get alarmed; instead, I am happy as this is the moment I had been waiting for.

The second its started to burn its core, hundreds of fine strings separated from its heart and merged, forming a sharp spike and seeing the spike, even Grimm Monsters eyes widened in shock, and before it could do anything, the very sharp spike moved toward its chest.

The spike pierced through its heart with some difficulty, and as it did, it again separated into hundreds of fine strings which immediately covered its core which it had started burning.

The moment they covered the burning core, the explosive growth of the strings have begun, not only outside of Crockman but also its inside. 

The strings begin to grow madly. Within ten seconds, 75% of it got covered in the strings, and five seconds later, its whole body covered in strings that now looked like a huge ragged doll without any expression.

I could feel the aura of Crockman flaring up, but that just made the strigs grow faster. They begin to form layer over a layer of strings; for the Emperor, a single layer of strings is enough, but it is Emperor I am dealing with, and I do not want to take any chances.

As the strings growing outside, they are also growing inside. They are filling every inch of the Crockman, and they are growing faster with time as the crockman is burning its core faster and faster.

It is quite a smart move; it needs great power to break free of the shackles my strings have created. Regretfully, my strings are extremely good; they are sucking nearly all power coming out its core, barely leaving anything for its body.

A few seconds later, it seemed to understand the futility of its action and accepted it is going to die like that moment; its core begins to burn like blazing sun instead of a forest fire. It had begun the self-detonation process.

"Fuck!" I couldn't help but curse seeing it. I know it would be doing it, seeing its condition becoming more and desperate, but I thought it would wait for few more seconds but apparently not. If I do not want to get vaporized under a powerful energy explosion, I need to work fast.

Its core became volatile, and a huge amount of power begin to release from its core; even the layers and layers of strings around its core were able to absorb all the energy. 

Still, they suck as much energy as possible and spread to the strings, which begin to grow even at even greater speed. I should be started the real harvest process, but I waited and focused more on growing the strings.

I want to be prepared for all foreseeable circumstances; it is Tyrant I am dealing with, it suddenly could gaint the extreme strength and broke out of my vines, for that to not happen, I need to be prepared, not to forget these layers of strings would help in muffling the power of explosion if it had really exploded.

Seconds passed by, and soon, twenty layers of strings formed outside while on the inside, the strings have covered nearly every space inside it.

'It is time to begin the real harvest!' I said when I felt secure with layers of vines.

The energy which was going for vines to grow now going toward the stomach of Grimm Monster, where vines have formed harvesting core, where dense runes could be seen; these dense runes will form the Essence Rose from the energies of Crockman.

With no more focus on growing the strings, the strings begin to transfer all the energy toward the core, and they are going very fast, much faster than when the vines were growing. 

From capturing 70% of the core's energy, they went to capture 90% energy from the core. Not only that, but also the vines spread into every part of Grimm Monster had also started harvesting, that any energy able to escape.

Controlling such energy has put immense strain on me than blood begins to leak from my nose, but I did not care about that as I am harvesting a Tyrant, a freaking Grimm Tyrant that many Emperors would piss their pants at their glance.

There is so much energy coming from the monster, and I could barely imagine how energy-dense the Essence Rose would be. I had already collected more than ten times the energy I would collect from the Emperor, and there is much more.

Time passed by, and I got much better at handling energy that I made the strings thorns on strings outside and pierced them into Crockmans powerful hard shell, and started harvesting energy from them.

Now, not only am I harvesting the energy from inside but also from outside, and it is agonizing for the Grimm Monster.

It is an extremely painful process as I am harvesting its very essence, and unlike when I harvest Emperor, it won't be quick; it will take quite a lot of time for me to harvest it. As not only do Tyrants have immense energy, but their internal defenses are also stronger, which will make the process long.

Twenty minutes passed by, and I had harvested half of its energy barely. It used to take me one to two minutes to harvest the Emperor, but for Tyrant, it will take me twenty times more.

I am concentrating everything on harvesting when suddenly I noticed something rising in it, which changed my expression drastically.

"Shit!" I cursed loudly, just when I had gotten everything under control, when another fucking problem unloaded on my head.
