[Bonus chapter] Merge 

"Leonard, begin!" I said, and he activated the formation. At the same time, I sat down and closed my eyes. I need to be completely focused on dealing with any problem quickly as possible.1

I had just thought that when the first and most expected problem rose, art was rejecting Leonard, finding it an unsuitable host.

It is an expected problem, and I begin to work immediatly. 

The egg, which is floating in the center of the constitution, shone and began to change its colors rapidly. Each color from the core represents different attributes and specialties of the bodies I had created.

For something like it, I had needed the data from thousands of people and then programmed that into the egg. It is a good thing I love my research, and it is quite enjoyable for me; the regular person would have just died the complexity of the work.

'Got you!' I said in my mind when suddenly, the art reacted to a specific attribute. The art is only reacted to it; they are not perfect. This is not a problem, as the egg began to make changes in the selected attribute, and soon, I got an even better reaction from the eggs.

I began to go deeper and deeper into the attributes, and with time, I got a bigger and bigger reaction from the art till there was no resistance from at.

I still moved deeper and deeper; I want to create a perfect symmetry with art and the seed, which would enable me to create a perfect attribute body the art need. It will make future steps easy.

It took me a few minutes till I got the perfect synchronization with art, and just as I found that, the egg melted and began to seep into the constitution, and there was not a single resistance from the constitution.

My ego would have really been hurt if there had been a resistance; it would mean like I was not able to properly utilize the immense amount of data I had gotten from his constitution.

As the egg completely seeped into the constitution, it activated, and its essence began to envelop the runes of art that climbed into Leonards's body. 

I watched it with bated breath as this is the most important step; a resistance here could derail everything I have worked for this past year. Seconds passed, and the essence of the constitution began to envelop every ruin that climbed up into Leonard's body.

Seven minutes passed by, and all the art runes have climbed into Leonard's body, and the essence of the constitution surrounded them.

Seeing that, I couldn't help but take a sigh of relief. I had used the very essence of the constitution. If something had happened, I would have ended up damaging his constitution, or it might have got completely disappeared.

'It is up to you now, Leonard,' 

I had handled my end of the things, and now it is Leonard's turn whether we would be successful or now would totally depend on his efforts. It will be quite a daunting task if you ask me, with the chances of failure being around 60%.

The thing Leonard has to do is now is to completely merge the essence of the constitution into the art runes before following the process and practicing the art. These steps seemed simple enough, but they are not.

He will need to use all his willpower for them to merge. If I tried, there is a high chance the art might reject me, so Leonard had to do it himself.

A minute passed, and Leonard's whole body became sweaty while he barely made any progress in merging. I could not blame him for seeing the resistance these runes are creating.

We are trying to do something that throught to be impossible for the people of our world. It is not impossible with enough preparation, but it is still very hard that very few people would able to achieve it.

Another four minutes passed, and there was still no progress, but Leonard began to receive the backlash. If it continues for long, then I will have to interfere, which means stopping it all to recover the losses.

"Will he be able to do it?" Teacher asked softly, "I don't know," I said, shaking my head. I truly don't know; this thing is impossible to predict as it is wholly dependent on willpower.

Another two minutes have passed, and the backlash has got even bigger as Leonard begins to bleed for all his orifices. If this continues long, Leonard will be heavily injured, and his constitution will break apart.

Hun!

Seeing that, I decided to act and was about to take control back in my hands when I noticed the change. It is quite slow but visible; it is not enough, but I decided to wait. If the speed of merging did not increase within a minute, I would end-all.

A minute passed by, and things improved; they have improved enough that I still have a trigger in my hand, but enough for me to rest the trigger.

So, I am just waiting, waiting for things to improve, and they did, faster than I had hoped that two minutes later, I had rested the trigger and watched as rune after rune get filled with the essence of the constitution.

An hour and ten minutes passed by when suddenly, all the runes covering Leonard's body lit up and began to seep inside him. He has merged the art runes with his constitutional essence, and now the only thing he has to do is follow the steps in his art.

The next step is actualizing the totem; it could be anything, but it should be actualized with rules of art and need to have a deep resonance with him. 

The totem he will actualize will appear on his body, and this time he does not have to hurry up; it is a long process, might take hours or even a day. I hope he will not take more than a day; that would again make things complicated.
