Celub

"You next," said the guard, and I nodded, and walked toward the intercity teleportation gate.

I have been waiting six minutes; there are a lot of people who want to travel.

I stepped into it, but not before taking one last glance at Vakan city, where I had spent a day. I had come here yesterday from Klahan and now I am going to Celub, which is also my destination.

As I stepped into the formation, I appeared in the spatial tunnel.

Inheritance teleportation gate takes time; the distance between cities is huge and they cost a fortune in travel. Still, with it, I could have finished a week of travel in less than a minute.

It is worth it, at least for me.

Though, I will need to be a little careful about my expenses. I have spent quite a lot on the treatments and my breakthrough. While I still have a fortune, it is reserved for the treatments.

I have a lot of resources, but most of them are useful and they will be spent, if I continue with treatments, as I am going.

They will last me for two and a half months to three months. After that, either I will need to find a lot of bloodlines Grimms, or a place with a lot of resources.

With the treatments, the practice is going to get insanely expensive, but it is fine. Given the benefit of breaking into the Sovereign stage and also stretching the limit, further than it is, all is worth it.

I will find a way to get the resources.

Forty-six seconds passed, and I have finally seen the end of the spatial tunnel. Half a second after that, I passed it.

"Welcome to Celub," said the big-horned man monotonously. I nodded my thanks and walked out.

Celub City is a vast city, the same size as that of the Klahan. Famous for its Junl stones, a magical material used in construction. It is a precious construction material and Celub had a huge amount of it.

It is rich due to it, and I could see many of the employment projections. Most related mining, offering much better wages, that people had pain, in the last mine I had been.

Unlike that mine, Junl stone mines are not hazardous; it is just simple labor in them. From what I heard, half of the city's population work in the mines.

There are not only projections of employment but of those wanted people. I even spotted mine.

Klahan had my posters all over, and so had Vakan and now even Celub. I couldn't help but smile seeing that. Well, let them post as many wanted posters as they want; they will not find me.

I was about to move my eyes away from all the protection when some of them had changed.

It changed into a beastman, no, not a beastman. The foxman's features are too animalistic; the beastman has human bodies with animal traits. This one seemed similar, but with more animalistic features.

"The corrupted," I said when realization stuck with me, and at the same time, those words appeared behind it.

The corrupted are ones made by the unison of Grimms and native races. It is extremely rare for Grimm to procreate with the native species, but sometimes it happened. 

Those created by such unions are hunted; natives hate them more than Grimms themselves. The Grimms do the same; there are very few places, they could live without persecution.

I don't know whether this persecution is justified on not; there are not many books about it in the library.

I heard these people eat the natives and are unstable in mind. The posters even said to kill them on site, as they are very dangerous. Their energy is very fatal to both natives and also to the Grimms.

I would like to get my hands on that energy, but I couldn't be able to get it legally. I will have to do it illegally.

Though, I am in no hurry. I will do it after I reach my destination, which is Haln. Unfortunately, there is no teleportation link to do; as Haln, comes under the jurisdiction of a different organization.

While there is no direct transportation, like teleportation or airship, or even caravan. People still travel there by road.

It is dangerous and will take two to three weeks to reach there with my power and speed. I am planning on doing that, but not today; I will be in Celub for a few days, gathering information, before making my way to the Haln.

I moved to walk through the city. It is quite active at night, without thousands of people moving through the vast market.

I enjoy the market, buying things I need and there are many things I need for my treatments. Today, I will be browsing the market, but tomorrow, I will visit the stores to get the things I need.1

Though, I need to be careful with spending. I could not shop too much; it is allied with Klahan, and I don't want to alert those bastards.

Instead of letting go, those bastards have intensified the search for me, and I don't want to give them any chance to suspect me, especially when I come so close to escaping their net.

Once I reach the Haln; they will be able to do anything against me. There, I will be able to shop without care.

Three hours passed, and I walked into the inn.

"Room for three nights please," I said to a redhead human woman, who looked to be in her early twenties. 

"Seven hundred and thirty lem crystals please," she said, looking at me strangely. Likely because I am not breathing.

I nodded and placed five crystals in front of her; she looked at them, before nodding and passing me the key.

"Thank you," I said and walked to my room, which is on the sixth floor.

As I reached it, I immediately took out the tub and submerged myself. It had been three and a half hours already and time for my daily seven aurora waves treatment.
