The soldiers of the Earth Dragon Clan and Fire Phoenix Clan watched their Vice Generals fall apart from the neck and hit the ground. Their bodies also followed suit.2

They were unable to comprehend what had just happened even though they were veterans, having seen so much blood on the battlefield. The deaths of their Vice Generals shouldn't have been that shocking, but to not be even able to notice the monstrous beast that emerged from the shadows, they were momentarily seized with fear, their subconscious wondering if it was still before them.

Even the severed heads of their Vice Generals failed to remind them of the consequences of remaining here. They were absolutely stupefied that their brains stopped thinking for a moment.

Just as they heard the triggering word from Davis Alstreim, they hurriedly came out of their reverie and tried to regroup.

However, the core of the battle array formation that they were in was absent. After all, it was their Vice General who occupied the core of the battle array formation.

In fact, they made a tremendous mistake at the beginning, which was not activating the battle array formation from the start, which caused the lives of their Vice General to be forfeited and their lives to be currently in question.

Their skin started turning black, becoming lifeless by the moment as each cell lost the ability to multiply on being corroded by the death energy as though their vitality was eternally lost. Some even thought that the Vacuous Beast's poisonous blood was incomparable to this kind of energy.

They clenched their necks as though they were being suffocated to death before, one by one, they began to fall like flies.

Hundreds of immortals fell from the skies, their auras surging anywhere from Level Three Immortal Stage to Level Nine Immortal Stage. However, those auras all receded like a river that had gone dry, only leaving a bit of puddle left on the ground, which was no different than the remnant aura of their corpses and carcasses.

Even though there were sparks of fire and the might of the earth swirling around as though trying to see the light of the day, they were unable to last more than a second.

Humans, feys, and magical beast soldiers and captains all fell to Nadia's attack in a few seconds, unable to even retaliate.

Davis also saw this scene and chuckled at Nadia, who was collecting their dead bodies before they could fall to the ground like she was playing a game. However, he wasn't surprised, considering that Nadia had reached Level Four Immortal Beast Stage.

With her current prowess, she could battle a Level One Immortal King toe to toe and perhaps even Level Two Immortal King if she gave everything. However, it was unlikely for her to have killed those Vice Generals who were at Level Three Immortal King Stage if they engaged in a battle, much less go toe to toe with them.

It was only through her innate assassination ability as a Dark-Winged Twilight Wolf and the Nether Springs Death Wolf she was able to kill them in an instant. Still, that was enough for him, knowing that he could count on her from the bottom of his heart.

Even before he arrived, she was already on her way from the Thirty-Fourth Fire Phoenix City. She had appeared in the West Ascendance Monument way before the two divisions arrived, hiding even without receiving his command. Most likely, she was also able to guess that there would be powerful entities appearing here without the warning of others, so she stayed hidden in order to quickly kill them if they posed a threat to him.

Nonetheless, Davis didn't let her actions go to waste and collected the two Immortal King's carcasses and soul essences. Due to both of them being magical beasts, their soul essences were also at Level Three Immortal King Beast Stage. It was such a delicacy that momentarily blinded his eyes but still, even their blood flowing on the ground was prickly to him.

They held such prowess within them that if he became affected by their unwilling aura, he might probably be inflicted with an illness affecting his soul.

Even in death, immortal souls couldn't be underestimated.

Nevertheless, he waved his hand and collected the pond of immortal beast blood and stored them in an immortal grade container that may or may not hold their potency. He had no way of knowing if he could preserve them, but it was good stuff if he could make use of them.

However, in front of him were his foes trying to escape. The others were also insecure, trying to escape as they didn't know if he would leave them alive in this slaughter, but he didn't touch them.

He also didn't touch the powers that remained silent.

Instead, he went after the powers whom he knew were after him, the first being the despicable rats.

"Nooo!!!"

A wretched scream resounded in the area as the Cyan Soul Rat scout turned into a meat paste from the explosion of seamless death energy eroding his cells as Davis crushed his entire body within the palm of his hand using his new technique.

Although it took more energy, he didn't mind granting immense pain to this despicable opponent instead of a quick death, his eyes burning with anger as a wide grin spread on his face.
