The powerful figures of the Earth Dragon Clan and Fire Phoenix Clan disappeared from their location, appearing to have broken the sound barrier as they made their way into the distance.

The air resistance was heavy, screeching in their wake, especially with the Earth Dragon Clan's entourage.

They flew with little to no class, unlike the graceful phoenixes, forcing their way through the clouds as they sped into the distance. The sceneries they glimpsed were quickly disappearing one by one as their velocities were incredible, and so was the formation disc that was in their control.

However, the more they sped up, some of their expressions became one of unease, especially the expressions of the elders.

After they went past a certain point, their expressions became unsightly.

"Stop!"

A Fire Phoenix Elder yelled with haste before the entire entourage came to a stop.

"Elder, what's going on? Did you find something?"

Patriarch Killian Zenflame also urged with haste as he could see the formation disc flashing. It meant that the immortal inheritor was very close!

However, that Fire Phoenix Elder clenched his teeth before he stared into the distance. Everyone followed his gaze and saw a massively tall and wide structure in the middle of nowhere, but that seemingly small structure in their eyes, when looked at from a distance, was covered by a massive, invisible formation. Instantly, everyone's expression couldn't help but change.

In fact, in their haste, they forgot what this place was and entered it without announcing themselves, causing them to feel some nervousness. However, their expressions remained determined.

Just as they were about to move out, they found a purple-robed figure in the distance waving his hands at them.

Their pupils dilated, recognizing that it was none other than Davis Alstreim!

"Haha! We caught up to him. The rest is- you…!"

Patriarch Killian Zenflame's expression churned as he pointed at Davis, who was in the distance.

Davis was currently displaying his middle finger with both his hands, his gesture telling them to screw themselves before he turned around and disappeared into the massive structure.

Blood boiled in everyone's heads as they witnessed this scene.

This junior simply gave no respect to them! He was courting death!

Flames surged in Patriarch Killian Zenflame's crimson eyes as he was angered the most. His aura surged like he was going to transform into his magical beast form but was suddenly calmed as numerous hands landed on his shoulders, locking him in place for a moment.

"Elders…"

Patriarch Killian Zenflame's eyes flickered with some confusion before he couldn't help but inevitably shake as he sensed the solemness emanating from the expressions of his elders.

It couldn't be that this power that was ancient as them but mysterious was a terrifying sleeping dragon, right?

On the other side, Davis had a smug smile on his face.

With Nadia's speed, they had come here more quickly than expected.

He was ten seconds close to being caught, but not exactly, as he mused that he wasn't the one being tracked by them.

Making his way past the walls and gates of the easternmost branch of the Aurora Cloud Gate with the status plate in his hand, he made his way into the massive structure and headed inside for a bit, following a certain direction that was clear in his mind before a figure also appeared in front of him and pounced.

A fragrant scent entered his nostrils, and despite the air of slaughter emanating from his body that he did his best to conceal with his death energy, she still hung on to him, her arms wrapped around his neck as she tremblingly held him.

"Evelynn… I'm sorry for not returning sooner..."

He gently brushed her silky purplish-green hair and comforted her. Probably, only she had seen that he was about to die during his Annihilative Heavenly Tribulation. Her deep cry resounding in his soul sea had awakened him at that moment, so she must've been worried about him all this long.

Still, he held her with love and affection before he raised his head to look at a few more figures appear in front of him.

Ellia grinned as she walked towards him and held her waists, appearing smug, while Natalya, Fiora, and Mingzhi appeared before him as they wore their hearts on their faces. They stood in front of a hall leading to a teleportation formation which meant it wasn't long since they appeared here, perhaps a minute or two earlier.

Seeing the three of them smiling at him, he knew that he could count on Ellia to do the job as she had never failed him!

He had only one mission for Ellia, and that was to retrieve them all back to the Aurora Cloud Gate while he made a mess in the Western Ascendance Monument! He personally couldn't go retrieve them as he had to make it so that the time between the admission of Feng Chu and his appearance here as Davis Alstreim wasn't that different.

"Davis~ It was just as you said. For some reason, the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace allowed me to control it temporarily."

Ellia appeared beside him and secretly passed him the tiny palace as she intimately held him along with Evelynn, returning it back to him.

Evelynn let go of this moment as she took two steps back and let some way for them. She had listened to Ellia's iteration of what happened after he had come here, so it could be said that he had his own matter to take care of.

Even now, he heard he was going to make a ruckus in the Western Ascendance Monument, so she was badly worried about him, but she also had immense confidence in him that he wouldn't fail, especially when Nadia was with him.

However, understanding was one thing, and worrying was another because her heart could never rest at ease until seeing him appear safe.

"I know, Ellia."

Davis lightly smiled as he turned to look at Ellia. Lereza knew that Ellia was a part of Myria, so how could she refuse?

Without knowing this part, it would've been stupid of him to send Ellia to get them all back. They would've gotten caught on their way instead if everyone had been outside.

It was just that, his expression became complicated as he turned to look at a white-haired woman at a corner near them.

"Myria…"

It seems like she had also gone with Ellia to retrieve his people? Otherwise, how was she here?

"Davis Alstreim, you cowardly Divergent! Come out and face your death!"

But just as he was about to ask, a furious voice resounded across the easternmost branch of the Aurora Cloud Gate.
