"I am too lazy." Min Yu nodded. "I don't feel like moving."0

Min Jian could tell that Min Yu was patronizing him. Despite his disappointment, he did not insist.

After all, his nephew always knew what he was doing. Since Min Yu refused to produce the weapon in bulk or modify it, he must have a good reason for it.

"Enough. I get it." Min Jian waved his hand.

Min Yu acknowledged gently.

"Oh yes. Do you know where your father is?" Min Jian changed the subject.

Min Yu looked sad as he shook his head and sighed gently. "You know how mysterious he is. Also, he keeps traveling all the time. The tail I had on him lost him ages ago."

Min Jian's lips twitched. He was talking about his biological older brother, and couldn't believe Min Yu's nonchalance. Wasn't he worried about his father getting into some accident?

Min Yu seemed to read his uncle's mind and said in disdain, "He is as slippery as an eel. Only someone with extraordinary skills can find him."

Min Yu shook his head before he raised his hand and glanced at his watch. It was getting late, so he put down the teacup and got up. "If that is all, then I am heading off."

Min Jian glanced at the time as well. "Perfect. We can have dinner together."

Min Yu raised his brow and answered airily. "No thanks. I have a date."

Min Jian went speechless.

He was starting to feel that his nephew was becoming increasingly arrogant.

"Just go!" sneered Min Jian coarsely. He retrieved his phone and wanted to get his subordinate to order him dinner, but his phone had no signal.

Min Jian frowned. Was there no signal here?

Just as Min Yu was about to open the door and leave, Min Jian suddenly called out to him. "Hang on. Yu, didn't you get someone to fix the network?"

Min Yu raised his head. "What's wrong?"

"Isn't it fixed?" asked Min Jian again.

Min Yu contemplated for a couple of seconds before taking out his phone.

There was no signal.

Min Yu lowered his eyes. No one knew what he was thinking.

He opened the door and quickly walked out without saying a word.

Min Jian scratched his head quizzically when he saw Min Yu leaving in a hurry.

Min Yu took the lift and went downstairs to the seventh floor right away with a cold look on his face.

After entering the control room, he saw the technicians still hard at work, but Huo Yao and Yang Yi were nowhere to be seen.

The moment Zhao saw Min Yu come back, he hurriedly walked over and greeted him reverently.

Min Yu looked at Zhao coldly and asked in a calm tone. "Where is she?"

Zhao did not dare to make eye contact with Min Yu, so he kept his head lowered and replied. "She went to use the bathroom, but she isn't back yet. Mr. Yang is with her."

Even though there was hardly any change in Min Yu's expression, his aura became increasingly cold. He went quiet for a few seconds before he asked. "What did you ask her to find out?"

Zhao squeezed his hands slightly as they hung on the sides of his body. His hands were already covered in a cold sweat. "Just the IP address."

The moment he finished his sentence, Zhao could sense himself surrounded by a threatening coldness.

He cautiously glanced at Min Yu. After hesitating for a couple of seconds, he did not bring up the IP address and said softly, "Team Leader Liao was here earlier."

Min Yu frowned. He said nothing and turned to leave the control room.

After he was gone, Zhao finally relaxed. He leaned against the table beside him with his legs feeling limp and tired.

It felt as though he was stuck in an ice cellar when he spoke to Min Yu. It was really terrifying.
