Huo Yao trembled gently. She wanted to tell Min Yu to get up, but she could sense him kissing her on the neck. She instantly did not know what she wanted to do.

The temperature kept rising and the atmosphere in the room felt very romantic with the light scattering on them.

Min Yu swallowed nervously looking at her and quickly lowered his eyes. He reached his hands out to straighten Huo Yao's clothes.

After he was done, he pulled her up from the lounge chair. When he cleared his throat, his voice sounded husky and restrained. "Why don't you pick something to read? I'm going to do something. Be right back."

He lowered his head to kiss Huo Yao before forcing himself to stand up and quickly leave the study.

When the door shut behind him, Huo Yao promptly snapped out of it.

She raised her hand to cover her face. It was burning hot and she did not feel like she was herself.

No wonder unmarried men and women were not allowed to spend time alone in the same room. Anything could have happened.

Huo Yao walked up in front of the bookshelf and picked out something to read.

Min Yu came back to the study 30 minutes later. He had already changed and was wearing light-colored homewear.
