Huo Yao tilted her head sideways and looked at Huo Yulin. "Are you going to visit our uncle?"2

"Uh huh." Huo Yulin acknowledged Huo Yao with his eyes narrowed.

Even though their uncle had told Huo Yulin to bring his little sister back with him, he was not sure how he could get his parents to say yes to it. He could already imagine his parents kicking him out of the door the moment he mentioned it.

Huo Yao had trouble reaching her grandmother over the phone, and she inexplicably felt worried. Since it was getting late, she could only try again tomorrow during the day.

In the afternoon, Min Yu called Huo Yao telling her he was at the door to pass her some stuff.

"Did you have to buy so much stuff?" Huo Yao felt a headache coming on when she saw seven to eight large paper boxes by his feet.

"I bought some gifts for your parents as well." Min Yu had labeled the packages so that Huo Yao would not make any mistakes about the gifts.

Huo Yao crossed her arms and sighed gently. "Isn't it nice to be rich? You're so generous."

Min Yu raised his brow. "Well, if it's money you want, what is mine is yours."

Huo Yao touched her nose and glared at him with a huff. "Quit flirting already. Let's not ruin your cool, untouchable image."

Min Yu laughed. He raised his head, glanced inside the door, and asked. "Are you alone at home?"

"Nope. The maid is here," replied Huo Yao.

Min Yu picked up the paper boxes by the side of his feet. "Come on. Let me carry them in for you."

Huo Yao knew what he was trying to do, but she did not expose him.

The two of them entered the villa together.
