Yi Feiyu swiped his pass again in the lift and pressed for the third floor. "Sadly, it's the weekend. If you came on a Monday, you could get to see how the Physics experiments are conducted."1

The lift arrived as they spoke.

Yi Feiyu walked out and pointed out various things which were being experimented. He also told them about the zones which were off-limit. He treated Huo Yao and his cousin already as his juniors.

Yi Feiyu brought them to the third classroom in the corridor. He swept his pass again, and the automatic glass door opened.

"This is where our lab classes are held." Yi Feiyu stood at the door and pointed at the equipment inside without bringing them in.

After looking around the laboratory for about ten minutes, all of them walked downstairs.

Yi Feiyu kept convincing Huo Yao to join the physics faculty as they walked down. Halfway through, a few Tsing University professors came walking in their direction.

Yi Feiyu instantly pulled them both aside with a reverent look on his face.

"These are Tsing University's most influential professors. Lower your heads and keep quiet when they walk past," urged Yi Feiyu with fear in his voice.

Although there were no rules against bringing the juniors in, it was not advisable to do so.

Huo Yao stood behind Yi Feiyu and lowered her head obediently.

An imposing aura swept over the students as the Tsing University professors came over. Yi Feiyu clenched his fists nervously and said, "Afternoon, Profs!"

The professor in the lead belonged to the Physics department, and he glanced towards Yi Feiyu indifferently.

Since Huo Yao and Yi Lianfan both had their heads lowered, they could not see their faces. He merely took them as Physics undergrads and gently waved before he continued walking towards the research building.

However, the last professor suddenly halted when he walked past Yi Feiyu.

Yi Feiyu's body stiffened and he raised his head cautiously. It was Professor Zhao from the Biology faculty who was looking intently at Huo Yao. Yi Feiyu instinctively wanted to move forward and block Huo Yao from his view.

All the other professors halted and turned to look in their direction when Professor Zhao stopped.

Cold sweat trickled down Yi Feiyu's forehead instantly, and he did not dare move a muscle.

He stammered. "Prof… Prof Zhao… These are my middle school junior and my cousin. They were here for the National Quiz Contest, and I wanted to show them around after they were done."

Yi Feiyu was so nervous that he could not even remember what he said.

Yi Lianfan realized the stature of these professors when he noticed how nervous his cousin was. Yi Lianfan suddenly felt guilty about asking Yi Feiyu to show them around.

It would be awful if his cousin got punished because of them.

In comparison to how anxious Yi Feiyu and Yi Lianfan were feeling, Huo Yao was particularly calm.

Huo Yao had her head lowered when she detected Professor Zhao staring at her and found it odd. She contemplated for two seconds before she raised her head and looked back at him.
