Lu Jiming said unhappily, "Ugly girl, Ruxue told me that Madame Gu is going to marry you to the stupid son of the officier of the Ministry of Revenue?"

"If you beg me, I would not mind letting you marry me with an equal amount of presents." Lu Jiming said arrogantly. Now he was offering the deal that Gu Chaoyan could not possibly turn down, or so he assumed.
