The King stopped thinking as he looked at Zhou Huailing. "Okay, just go and take care of it."

Zhou Huailing nodded. He already had an outline of an idea. Then he replied, "I will head directly to the Gu Mansion after I leave the court later."

As he finished saying these words, he left in a hurry. He even forgot to greet his father.

The King did not care. It was his own Ling son who did not have to greet him when they were alone. That was what the King was thinking.

Zhou Huailing, however, forgot to greet because he was already sure that since he had married the Phoenix Girl he was going to become the King soon. Why must he greet anyone when he was going to take the throne soon? What he needed was just some time.

When Zhou Huailing left the court, he headed directly to the Gu Mansion.

The guards at the Gu Mansion already got used to Zhou Huailing's appearance. They were used to their Second Lady who had been confirmed as the Phoenix Girl. So they did not think that Lord Ling was someone that shocking! Therefore, no one stopped Zhou Huailing when he walked in and out of the Gu Mansion.

Zhou Huailing came to the hall of the front yard, and Chen Fu had not expected that Lord Ling chose to stay there instead. Normally, he would go to the Princess Consort's old room. So he came to him and asked, "Lord Ling, should I get Princess Consort?"

"Get Gu Yunhe and the Princess Consort." Zhou Huailing stressed.

Chen Fu nodded and hurried off.

Zhou Huailing had intended to just talk with Gu Yunhe, but when he heard Chen Fu's question, he realized that Gu Ruxue was still living inside the mansion. He had thought that Gu Ruxue had returned to the Lord's mansion after passing on the message, but she had been in her own home for so long.

Zhou Huailing was a lord with a special background.

His mother was living in the court, so she could not keep the mansion going on. So normally, the Princess Consort should be in charge of everything in the mansion. He was used to the orderly-functioning mansion in the past, but these days, he was always bothered with some minor matters. So he started to feel that it was not proper for Gu Ruxue to stay at the Gu Mansion all the time.

Gu Ruxue might be the Phoenix Girl, yet she was his Princess Consort above all. So she had to get the mansion to function well. He decided to bring her back to the mansion later.

Gu Ruxue had no idea of what Zhou Huailing was thinking. She had not a single thought about it. She came and showed a delighted smile, "Lord, what are you doing here, are you picking me up to bring me back home?"

Zhou Huailing had wanted to deny the question, when he thought of this girl's identity.

Zhou Huailing nodded. "Yes, and I need to talk with your Elder Brother."

"About the marriage?" Gu Ruxue stopped smiling directly.

Zhou Huailing nodded.

Then came Gu Yunhe.

Gu Ruxue did not ask anything more, but Zhou Huailing waved at Gu Yunhe and said, "Come and take a seat here, I need to have a few words with you."

Gu Yunhe was feeling rather pleased - he was going to marry the Princess!
