He had just eaten two mouthfuls when the Queen put down her chopsticks.

She drank up the medical soup with her eyes closed, then she said with exhaustion. "I am tired, I need to go inside first."

Having said this, she asked Aunt Nan to help her in.

The King was startled and looked at the Queen in surprise. "Are you going inside first?"

He had just started breakfast! When they were at the Weiyang Palace, Jiang Shuang would always watch and keep him company even if she finished breakfast before he did. Sometimes, she would say a few words, yet most of the time, she would just watch from beside him.

It used to be her happiest moment when he could eat breakfast with Jiang Shuang. She had always hoped that the breakfast time could last longer. However, now he had even eaten the medical meal for her sake, and yet she did not even want to spend some time waiting for him!

"Okay, then, you can go inside first," the King said dumbly.
