Even though he knew the future, Jake understood that many things could change now that he was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. However, he believed it would be easier to face the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.

With this in mind, Jake could sleep well, knowing that the future he knew hadn't changed yet. He slept a few extra hours to fully recover from the stress of the recent games and woke up much more relaxed the next day.

It was natural for Jake to rid himself of stress, knowing he had over a week of rest before the NBA Finals. Furthermore, Jake knew he would soon meet Kate, which made him even more excited.
