Lu Liangwei knew he was not in the mood to deal with the situation, but she refused to let the culprit bask in triumph.

Lin Mo was Chu Qi's personal guard who saw to his daily demands. He was also somewhat of a right-hand man to Chu Qi, and the latter entrusted him with various tasks. 

However, Chu Qi would usually only send him away to deal with urgent matters. It was rare for him to be away for so many days in a row.

Ji'er had discovered that Lin Mo was not in the General Mansion some time ago. She had not thought much of it at first, but after finding him absent for several days, she could not help getting curious.
