Fan Xui closed the file. He adjusted his black glasses and gently tapped his fingers on the table.

The presenter passed with swat dripped down his face. "I—is anything wrong, sir?"

He gestured for him to continue with his finger.

"Yes, as I was saying, our newest product has gone through the testing phase and it came out very successfully,"

"What is your scope? Target audience? Age group? What about your topological surveys?" Fan Xui stood up and unfurled his guiding stick. "Call me for the meeting when you can answer all of these," he walked out unhesitatingly.

The presenter slouched down and the entire meeting room started to chat amongst themselves.

Hans stepped up. "The next meeting shall be scheduled later on. Please prepare well." He bowed to them all and left as well.

  The meeting room got loud. "Don't you think our ceo's have been quite snappy nowadays?"

Another female manager leaned close. "I heard he broke his typewriter, and he even broke his glasses,"

"That bad?"

"Yes, so don't get on his nerves," she warned them one last them before leaving the room.

Fan Xui, on the other hand, swiftly walked to the elevator and Hans followed after him.

He pulled off his tie in frustration. "Did you find anything?"

"Not of yet, sir. Zou Yue seems to have disappeared...."

"How can a living person just disappear?" he pulled his glasses off. Just the force of his fist snapped the sides of it. He carelessly tossed the broken shades to the side and wiped his fingertips. "Have you tried searching for the local documents? They must have some registered record even if they had moved,"

"sir I searched but.... he seems to have a powerful figure protecting him from behind. All the information that was freely available till now is all blocked. Even his phone number has been hidden," Hans frustratingly whispered.

He had been searching for days now, but he was not able to find anything of importance.

"Who is powerful enough to shield his info?" Fan Xui gently tapped his stick on the ground.

"Don't know. Must be someone very powerful,"

Fan Xui clenched his fists, breaking his walking stick as well. "What if he got kidnapped, and this person is trying to hide him. Hans, get me info on this person. I don't care if you bribe someone, but get it done by tonight,"

He walked out as soon as the doors opened.

Hans sighed and followed after him. As soon as they reached his office, he noticed a cheerful person talking to their desk secretary.

"Mister Qian,"

"Oh, Hans, why is it so tense in here?" he casually mumbled as he bit into an apple.

"I can't gossip, sir," Hans said with a business smile.

"Oh, come on," Qian nudged his shoulders. "Tell me, eh, why won't your loving boss see me?"

Hans sighed. He glanced around and motioned for him to follow. They went to a secluded corner. "sir what does mister Zou Yue mean to muster Fan,"

"Hmm, I think he has a crush."'

"I beg to disagree. I think he is in love as you had predicted. Every day he takes on a longer route so he can just pass by his house."

"He searched all the roads even though he can't see. You know what he does. He sniffs. He literally sniffs, putting his head out!!!! I feel like our boss has been replaced by a hound. A hungry one searching for a rabbit,"

Qian listened for a while but lost it in the end. "Ha-ha hound!! Ha-ha he does look it doesn't he! With his expressionless face and that frown." He mimicked the frown on Fan's forehead by scrunching up his face. {"Where is my rabbit? Assistant bring him to me,"}

Hans giggled. {'Now where is my rabbit? Why can't I find him I have to give him peanut butter cakes, ha-ha-ha."}

They both mimicked his tone and laughed secretly.

"Looks like you both are having your shits and giggles," a stern voice whispered from behind.

Both of them froze.

Hans swiftly turned to him and bowed. "Oh, the project file I completely forgot it!"

Qian stayed behind with a side-wise smile. "Oh wait, that is not the face of someone in love. What did you break up before you could even date?"

"Shut up, follow me I need your help,"

"Whoa buddy, that is not the tone you use to ask for help," Qian happily followed after him to his office. "Tell me what's going on?"

"He is gone. I can't find him. Someone powerful must have hidden him somewhere. Who knows what kind of danger he might be in," he pranced around in the office.

Qian watched him in awe. This was the first time his friend had ever lost his cool. Even when he lost his parents, he was cold and composed.

But now he...

"Has really become the hound."

"What?"

"Nothing... how can I be of help?"

"Can you use your position to search for him?" Fan Xui anxiously whispered.

"Nada can't do my friend. I am just a researcher if you wanted someone with a powerful connection, I can take you to my father. He is retired, but man, that old man has so many strings he can pull,"

"Take me now," Fan Xui held his shoulders.

Qian pulled away with a weird smile. "Even though you are handsome, I still prefer girls,"

"Not funny," Fan Xui said with a dull look.

"Fine fine, can't a man joke,"
