Zou Wei sat on the sofa, anxious about his children's safety. Just opposite him, Qian was sitting there with an equally nervous look on his face.0

"I'm sure they will return safely," he mumbled to himself.

Right then, there was a loud knock on the door.

Cautiously, he approached the door with a bat in hand. "Who?"

"It's me, dad, open the door," Tian shouted from outside.

He hurriedly opens the door. Tian carried Juda inside.

"Oh my god," he gave way for her. "Take her to my room,"

Tian hurriedly ran to the room and gingerly placed her on the bed. "Where's Trexa?" she whispered softly into his ear.

Zou Wei nodded.

Qian was standing by the door, awkwardly looking in. "is she okay? Who did that to her?"

"Qian, please give her some space. Go sit by the sofa," he urged him to wait in the hallway.

Yue had explicitly informed him not to expose Trexa's powers to Qian or Prisitsky. So he had to hide his from him.

He ran back to Yue's rooms where his wife and Lui were staying in. "where's Trexa?"

"Is Tian back? Juda.. What about her? Is she with her? Is she okay?"' his wife hurriedly interrogated him. Her face was sweaty, and she was jittery.

"Honey they are okay....did... did you take your meds?" he gently wiped the sweat off of her forehead.

She nodded and then shook her head... "i.. I don't know..." she started to sob loudly. "I don't know Wei..."

"shh.. shh. Listen. Look at me,"' he gently cupped her face and kissed her forehead. "Everything is okay. You don't have to worry about anything. Our children are safe.."

"Yue.. Yue is still not home. What if something happened to him? What if he's hurt, too? Wei..... What if..." his wife's hands started to tremble violently.

Zou Wei panicked a bit. The symptoms were back..

He went to the small cabinet under Yue's cabinet and took out a medicine box. Inside there was a nameless tablet bottle. He took out a tablet and gently fed it to her.

"I don't want it!" she spat it out.

"Honey, honey, listen. It's okay. Yue's okay," he took another tablet and fed it to her. This time, his wife swallowed it obediently.

"Squeak...." Trexa was sitting on Yue's bedside table with a confused look on her face.

"Trexa go to Tian. She needs you," he whispered.

The little rat nodded and scurried out of the room.

"Wei... Wei, Yue and Tian... they are not hurt right. My babies are okay right. they..."

"they are okay, my dear. They are okay." He hugged her tightly and gently rocked her side to side.

Little by little her trembling stopped and his wife yawned silently. "Lunch... I have yet to prepare something.. Yue and Tian like sweet egg rolls...."

"Why don't you take some rest? I'll prepare the food. Take rest." he led her to the bed.

She laid down beside Lui. "Wei.. they are okay, right? right?"

"Yes, they are okay. They are all okay."

His wife slept after a few minutes. He tucked her in and walked out of the room.

Qian was standing out there with an unknown look on his face. "What tablet did you give her?"

"It's… it's none of your business,"

"It is. She does not sound healthy, uncle. I have seen patients like this. It's what we call hysteria or mania."

Zou Wei flinched. "It's not an issue you need to worry about. She is healthy and well,"

"That was definitely mania. Uncle, I'm right aren't I?"

Zou Wei sighed. He walked over to his room. Tian was sitting there silently shedding tears. She glanced back and nodded with a small smile of relief.

Trexa was also happily jumping on the pillow.

"Uncle I need to know," Qian whispered.

Zou Wei closed the door. "Let's talk then... what do you need to know? Yes, my wife is sick."

"I want to know about Yue and Tian's birth... the real truth." He whispered close to his ear.

Zou Wei looked up at him in shock.

Qian's tear-filled eyes peered down at him. "I know, uncle. But I don't know the full story. Please... can you tell me.. it's..."

"Let's sit down and talk,"

He led him to the hall and gestured for him to sit down on the sofa. "Wait here a bit. I'll be back,"

Zou Wei walked into his room and closed the door. "How is Juda?"

Tian nodded. "She's good. But those bastards really wrecked her body... two of her ribs were broken and one of her shoulder bone was damaged.... if.. if it wasn't for Trexa I don't know what I would have done...."

Wei hugged her softly, patting her back. "Don't think of what if, Tian, it will only hurt you? Think of the bright side. Your lover is safe and sound. We were able to find her before something really bad can happen.... always thinking of the positive side,"

Tian nodded. "I try to.. I try my best to but.. but... I don't know what I would do without her dad,"

He gently hugged her while she let out a silent sob.

After she calmed down, he squatted down next to her had held her bruised hand. "Everything will be okay."

"hm.." she wiped her tears away. "Did Qian see Trexa? Yue told us not to expose her to him..."

"He does not know. Just stay in. I have something important to talk to him." he kissed her forehead and walked over to the shelf.

Behind his old geography book was a dusty old folder. He took it and walked out of the door.

Qian stood up as soon as Yue's dad got close. He was holding a thick folder in hand.

"Sit, we have much to talk about.... where do I start....?" he opened the folder and took out an old photo. "If I have to tell you, I need to start for the beginning,"

Qian took the photos from him. It was a photo of his dad and Yue's dad in their teenage years. Yue's mum was standing in between them with a bright smile on her face.

"The truth you wanted to know started when we were just young kids..."
