Butler Fu was stunned and immediately made his way to the room. Just as he pushed open the door, he saw Chu He sitting quietly on the bed. A servant was trying to persuade her, but she took no notice of her and held onto the bedside table with a firm gaze.

"What's wrong?"

Butler Foo walked over and looked at her, then at the servant, with a puzzled expression.

"Butler Fu, she's just woken up. The doctor told her not to move about, but she's insisting on getting out of bed and walking around!"

When Butler Fu heard this, he was relieved it was only a small matter. "You've been lying down for so long, you should really move around!"

The servant fell silent.

Butler Fu walked over and smiled at her. "Miss, you're finally awake! You've been lying here for two months!"

Red Lotus looked at him and opened her mouth. Before she could say anything, Butler Fu seemed to have guessed and interrupted, "Don't worry! I know what you're worried about! Baby Chu is fine! He went to school and probably isn't back yet!"

"School?" She looked even more confused.

"Baby Chu has already been included in the household register. Like other kids his age, he's started kindergarten."

The elderly man added, "When this little lad heard that he could go to school, he was so happy that he danced around! After all, children at this age are most playful! How lonely would it be if he had no friends?"

When Chu He heard this, her cold expression softened a little. Her gaze was filled with gratitude as she softly said, "Thank you."

She could tell that Butler Fu took very good care of Baby Chu.

Chu He was touched by Butler Fu's thoughtfulness. One could tell from minute details whether a person was truly concerned.

Chu He picked up her chopsticks with trembling hands and started to eat slowly.

Butler Fu looked at her and felt sorry for her.

This woman used to be enemies with the Gu family.

But for some odd reason, he was caring towards her. Could the reason be that she was Baby Chu's mother?

Butler Fu smiled and sat by the bed, giving her an update about Baby Chu.

Chu He listened attentively.
