'I give up this trial.'

Even though he didn't know why he said those words, Ajax said those words.

All the spirit beasts were only eating him little by little without killing him, making him say those words; however deep down inside his heart, Ajax felt all his actions were controlled by someone because he truly didn't mean those words.

Time continued to pass and within a flash, it's been more than three hours since Ajax entered into this trial and it's been more than an hour since he was being eaten by the spirit beasts.

Ajax tried to speak however, for some reason his words didn't come out of his throat.

Soon, Ajax's despair started growing at an incredible rate.

'Wait a second...why am I feeling despair now?'

However, all of a sudden, Ajax felt that another emotion appeared in him out of nowhere.

'Damn it...what is happening to me? Am I cursed by someone? Or struck in an illusion….Illusion?'

All of a sudden, Ajax thought of something; however, the other part of his brain was still in despair and making him give up everything.

'Looks like the previous master was an illusion master.'

Finally, Ajax understood something as he stopped resisting the spirit beasts and the emotions he was feeling inside him.

'First, I felt like I lost something; however, I still don't have a clue what I lost and before I could even think about it, I was agonized and grieved for nothing.'

After he stopped fighting the spirit beasts and the emotions in him, Ajax was able to think clearly and slowly pondered about his past hour.

'Then the fear which stayed for very long and with the appearance of the old man and his words, made me fall into despair. So, it can only be done by some kind of formation or skill. And since this illusion realm is created by the old man himself, then he must be toying with me.'

After coming to that conclusion, Ajax clenched his fists. Because what he was experiencing right now was absolute torture.

'From the time I stopped resisting, the pain I am experiencing is decreasing with each passing time.'

Nevertheless, Ajax was excited about one thing and the pain was getting decreased.

'This is the right time.'

'Teleport.'

As soon as he planned something, Ajax directly used the second effect of the 'Lightning cloud steps' and teleported from his current place.

The moment he appeared 10 meters aways from his original place, he fell to the ground and when he looked at his legs, he was shocked before cursing the old man who created this trial.

Even though his legs were missing, Ajax was unable to feel any pain. So, without wasting any time, he directly used the skill 'Teleport' once more as he headed in the direction of the pool to drink the water and complete the trial.

As for the old man, he was watching Ajax from the sky as he revealed a surprised look on his face when he saw Ajax was teleporting towards the pool.

What surprised him was Ajax was able to use his skills because if anyone fell into his illusion, they could not use them.

'I already expected him to complete the trial; however, I didn't expect it to be completed this soon.'

With that thought in his mind, the old man waved his hands and all the spirit beasts on the ground and the suns in the sky disappeared into nothingness without a trace.
