Lu Yaran was observing Qin Yan when she saw her stop, "What happened Yan Yan? Are you not feeling well?"0

"Yes, I feel a little discomfort. Can I bring the soup in my room?" Qin Yan asked cautiously.

Lu Yaran was angry at Qin Yan throwing a tantrum but she didn't show her unhappiness in front of Qin Yicheng, "Sure, but you have to finish the whole soup. Don't neglect your breakfast, it will not be good for your health," she said with concern.

"Yes mom, I'll not waste your hard work by leaving the soup," Qin Yan smiled sarcastically at Lu Yaran.

Lu Yaran felt something wrong with Qin Yan's expression but she could not point out what was wrong. So she let her go with a smile.

Qin Yan returned to her room. She looked at the soup coldly. In the dining room, she had already known that something was wrong with the soup. Now she smelled it again and her suspicions grew. But she could not determine what was wrong by herself. Although she knew about most of the chinese herbs, but she was not sure how many things were added to the soup. So, she decided to take a lab test for the soup.

She took a small empty container, poured the soup into it and enclosed it properly. The rest of the soup was flushed in the toilet. She put the enclosed bottle in her handbag and strode out of the room.

As she got to the living room, she saw everyone chatting and laughing. Qin Yicheng noticed her and asked, "Yan Yan, are you going out?"

"Yes dad, as I mentioned earlier, I need to go out. I will return in 2 hours max," she said gently.

"Weren't you unwell a while ago? Now you're going out? What is the matter with you? Were you making excuses because you didn't want to have breakfast? Yan Yan, you have really disappointed mom," Lu Yaran said sadly.

"Mom, why is your imagination going wild? I agree that I wasn't feeling well earlier, but after having the soup, I felt very energetic. It is all thanks to your love that I feel good now. So, I decided to carry on with my day. Why are you thinking so much!" Qin Yan said with a mocking smile in her eyes.

Lu Yaran looked sullenly at Qin Yan. 'Why is this girl talking back to me! How dare she! Till yesterday, she didn't even have the courage to look into my eyes. What has changed in such a short time!'

Lu Yaran didn't know that Qin Yan was a totally different person now. Both Qin Muran and Lu Yaran hated Qin Yan but Qin Muran's deeds were unknown to her mother. Lu Yaran still thought of Muran as an innocent and gentle girl. So she was unaware of the things that happened the previous evening.

"Sister, can I come with you? I don't have much to do today so I can accompany you. We can also shop something from the Privilege mall," Qin Muran asked with a coaxing tone.

Qin Yan refused with a smile, "Muran, I am really sorry but I wish to go alone today. I don't want to depend on you always. I also need to be independent."

Qin Yicheng nodded approvingly at Qin Yan when he heard Qin Muran say, "What are you saying sister! I am always there for you, whenever you need me! We can accompany each other. Why do you want to struggle alone!"

"Okay, enough with all this! One day out alone is not any kind of struggle. Muran, let you sister leave. She is right. She cannot be in constant care of her family. And it is already high time. Yan Yan, you leave and do have a nice day," Qin Yicheng said bidding goodbye to Qin Yan.

Qin Muran wanted to keep an eye on Qin Yan but because of Qin Yicheng's intervention, she could not do so. She pouted at her father but didn't say anything.

Qin Yan left the house and went straight to the hospital. She was concerned about the little boy. She didn't know why, but she had a familiar feeling with the boy.

As she reached the hospital, she saw the nurse whom she met yesterday. She strolled towards her and asked, "Sister, how is the little boy who I brought yesterday? Can you tell me about his condition?"

The nurse recognized Qin Yan and told her, "Oh, you are talking about the little prince of Xi family! His fever had subsided yesterday itself and his family transferred him to the capital's Angel hospital."

Qin Yan heard this and was didn't know if she was upset or relieved. She was relieved knowing that little bun was safe but she was also upset that she couldn't meet him.

As Qin Yan was engrossed in her thoughts, the nurse broke her train of thoughts, "Miss, I am in a hurry now. Because you saved the boy, if you want to ask anything, you can approach the doctor." After saying this, the nurse left.

Qin Yan now knew that the little guy was safe, so she let go of her worries. Now the next issue in front of her was the soup that needed to be tested. She searched online for the food testing lab and left the hospital for the laboratory.

Reaching the laboratory, she gave them the soup sample and was informed that she had wait for an hour for the results.
