Xiaobao looked at the school uniform Qin Yan was wearing curiously and asked, "Sister Yan, are you in high school?"0

"Yes, I am in grade 12. What about you, darling?" Qin Yan asked in turn.

"Baby is already in Grade 4," Xi Jung replied instead.

"WHAT!" Qin Yan exclaimed loudly. Both uncle and nephew looked at her questionably. 

Qin Yan : Cough..cough..I am sorry. I was too surprised right now. Darling, if you don't mind, which birthday of yours did you celebrate last?

The little guy answered obediently, "Sister Yan, I am five years old this year."

Qin Yan turned to Xi Jung, "Mr.Xi, you are joking with me, right? How can a five year old child be in fourth grade? Shouldn't he be in kindergarten?"

Xi Jung had already expected this. Nobody believed that this little ancestor was in fourth grade, but who asked him to be a child prodigy!

He told Qin Yan, "Miss Qin, I am not lying to you. Baby is in fourth grade now. He is different from children of his age. He could speak when he was ten months old, walk when he was eleven months old and run when he was one year old."

"He is not slightly cleverer than his peers, it is more than that. He has a photographic memory and could memorize the whole dictionary when he was two years old. He not only knew how to memorize it, but also how to write it. Even though his handwriting was crooked, people could read what he wrote."

Xi Jung continued, "With this monstrous talent, he could completely skip the kindergarten and directly enter the primary school."

Qin Yan listened to Xi Jung in daze. The little fellow glanced at Qin Yan and saw that she was extremely quiet. He was afraid that Sister Yan would find him abnormal and distance herself from him, so he glared at Xi Jung to stop talking.

When Xi Jung stopped, Qin Yan was still in daze. Only when the little boy nudged her, did she come back to her senses.

She looked at the little bun and broke into a wide smile, "Darling, you are so amazing," she said with clear admiration in her eyes.

Xi Jung was almost blinded by the smile. He was finding it difficult to accept how good Qin Yan looked when she smiled.

The little boy also glimpsed at Qin Yan and hearing her praise him, his lips couldn't help but curve up. He looked extremely adorable and shy at this time.

Qin Yan glanced at the little bun and patted his head. 'How cute.'

After a while, the food was served. It seemed that the little guy liked chinese dishes more. 

The table had a spread of dim sums, hot and sour soup, Schezwan chilli chicken, stir fried tofu, sweet and sour ribs, and some quick noodles.

There were also some vegetable dishes ordered by Qin Yan. When she saw the uncle and nephew ordering all the meat dishes, she ordered some vegetable dishes to balance the meal.

Qin Yan, being a doctor, always focussed on balanced diet. She would avoid oily food and always preferred light dishes. Vegetables are high fibre foods which help in digestion and keeping your stomach healthy. So, she made sure to include vegetables in every meal.

The little guy sat on his chair properly. His back was straight and his actions were elegant. It didn't seem that he had any problems picking up the food like normal five year olds had. 

He used his chopsticks with ease and picked up a sweet and sour rib. He placed the food in Qin Yan's bowl. 

Upon seeing the food that came into her bowl suddenly, Qin Yan looked at the source. The little guy pursed his lips and said, "For you, sister Yan."

Qin Yan gazed warmly at the little bun. He was such a loving child. 'How could a mother bear to abandon him', she thought.

From her previous life, Qin Yan knew about the Xi family. After all, it was one of the three great clans in the country. As they were very low-key, Qin Yan had not seen any of the family members.

It was because no reporter had the guts to film or take pictures of the family without their permission. The head of the Xi family, Xi Ting was a more mysterious figure. He didn't appear in any of the magazine interviews or on any news channels.

Xi Jung, the second young master, was opposite. He had a rich social life and most of the people knew him. But because the other members were out of limelight, there was rarely any news of the Xi family in the capital.

This was before a few years ago when a news surrounding Xi family wreaked havoc in the capital. It was reported that the People's hospital of Beijing received a very strange blood test result. After the hospital staff tested the blood, they found that it was 99.99% similar to Xi Ting's DNA. As the hospital was owned by Xi family, the doctor told them that the set of blood probably came from Xi Ting's son. 

When the Xi family received this news, they were totally exasperated. It was also the first time that the mighty eldest master of Xi family lost his composure. He immediately went to the hospital only to find out that the child was just one week old.

When the Xi family tried to track the mother of the child, it seemed that she had disappeared from the face of the earth. They found no clues about anything related to the mother.

The Xi family brought the child to their house and from then, everybody in the social circle knew that the most eligible bachelor of the country suddenly had a son. Nobody knew who his mother was though. 

Back to the present, Qin Yan looked at the little guy gently and said, "Thank you, baby." With that, everyone started eating.
