Qin Muran had lost her composure previously but after calming down she thought carefully. The only time she interacted with that gang was when she wanted to deal with Qin Yan.0

She realized that Qin Yan could not be that important person who could not be offended.

With that, she calmed down completely. She touched up her makeup and got out of the washroom calmly.

Chen Xiang looked over and saw that Qin Muran was fine now. He took a sigh of relief.

After the school, as usual Qin Muran was picked up by her family's driver. She got into the car and left.

On the way to her residence, the car braked suddenly. Qin Muran was frightened out of her wits. The news of the gang sounded in her ears again and again and her forehead got covered in cold sweat.

The driver looked back and reported, "Miss, some ladies have surrounded our car."

Before Qin Muran could contemplate the situation, loud knocking on the windows was heard.

Qin Muran immediately ordered, "Driver, keep driving, don't stop."

The driver said helplessly, "Miss, there is no way that we can leave this place without them moving out of the way. You stay inside, I'll go and look what they want."

The driver saw that the people who had stopped their car were all females, so he was not afraid.

He got out of the car and shouted, "What do you want? Why are you blocking our way?"

Two ladies got hold of the driver and said calmly, "Mister, we don't have any enmity with you. It's just that your miss has offended someone she shouldn't have. So don't try to struggle, otherwise we would not be able to guarantee that you could escape unharmed."

The driver was scared out of his wits. He was newly appointed by the Qin family and given the responsibility of picking and dropping Qin Muran to and fro from the school.

First he thought that these were few females and he could handle them himself, but when they held him, he realised that these were very strong female thugs.

He could not help but shout at Qin Muran, "Miss, RUN..."

But he was too late. A female thug opened the car door from the driver's side and got hold of Qin Muran. She dragged Qin Muran in an alley and gave her a fierce slap.

Qin Muran felt a numbing sensation in her head. Her head turned to one side from the slap and the corner of her lips broke.

She shouted aggrievedly, "Who are you? Why are you treating me like this?" Tears came out of her eyes because she was never bullied like this before.

"Oh, this chick doesn't know the reason of her suffering. Girls, should be tell her?" the boss of these thugs asked mockingly.

Then she stepped forward towards Qin Muran and held her face in one hand, "Do you feel aggrieved? Why didn't you feel so when you were plotting and scheming of harming someone?"

Qin Muran's face hurt so much that she thought that her jaw would be dislocated from the pressure of the boss' hand.

Her tears flowed freely as she said, "I didn't do anything. You are mistaken."

The boss was infuriated hearing Qin Muran lie even in this state. "Girls, I think she has not learnt her lesson. Let's teach her since her parents failed to do so."

With their boss' order, the female thogs thrashed Qin Muran. They beat her black and blue even after she had fainted.

When they felt that she would die if beaten further, they left her in the alley.

The boss' kicked her a last time, "Bastard."

When everything was over, the driver came running in the alley. He didn't see anything as he was captured and seated in the car.

As soon as the female thugs left, he ran towards the alley in which they had dragged Qin Muran to.

When he reached, he sensed a smell of blood. He walked forward and saw Qin Muran lying on the ground. Her face was swollen to the point that she was unrecognisable. Her clothes were in mess and her breathing was shallow.

The driver was so scared that he almost peed his pants. He took deep breaths and picked her up driving directly to the hospital.

Qin villa.

Qin Yicheng and Lu Yaran were sitting in the living room while Qin Yan was studying in her bedroom. Qin Mufeng had returned to the Beijing University the next day of the twins' birthday.

The phone in the living room rang. Lu Yaran picked it up, and after a while, her face turned pale at a fast pace. Qin Yicheng looked over and saw Lu Yaran standing in a daze with a phone in her hand.

She didn't say anything and just stood there dumbly. Her face was covered in cold sweat and she was trembling from head till toe.

Qin Yicheng walked to her and asked coldly, "What happened?"

Hearing Qin Yicheng's voice, Lu Yaran snapped out of her stupor and started crying, "Muran..Muran.."

Qin Yicheng frowned and asked, "What..what happened to Muran?"

When he didn't get any answer, he shook Lu Yaran and asked loudly, "Tell me, what happened to Muran?"

Lu Yaran sobbed, "She was beaten up on the way to our home. The driver brought her to the hospital but her condition doesn't look optimistic."

Qin Yicheng's face darkened. He took the keys and rushed to the hospital with Lu Yaran in tow.

Qin Muran was sent to the emergency room as soon as she was sent to the hospital.

The driver contacted the Qin family and told them about the situation.

When Qin parents reached the hospital, the doctor had just come out of the emergency room.

Lu Yaran rushed to the doctor and asked nervously, "Doctor, how is my daughter? Is she fine?"

Qin Yicheng also looked at the doctor with an inquiring face.
