Qin Yan excused herself and answered the call, "Elder Su."2

"Miss Qin, I have reached the capital. Have you finished your matters?" Elder Su asked.

Qin Yan answered readily, "Yes, Elder Su, I am done with my work here."

Elder Su instructed, "Okay, then come to Angel hospital in half an hour. I will let you know the details after you reach here."

Qin Yan replied affirmatively.

"Sorry guys, but I have a friend to meet. You can continue by yourselves," Qin Yan told her team members.

Han Jun was disappointed. This was one of the chances when he could spend leisure time with Big boss Qin. He did not want to let go of this opportunity.

He suggested, "Big boss, it's okay, we can accompany you to meet your friend and then we can hang out together afterwards. What do you say?"

Qin Yan glared at Han Jun, "My friend is sick and I need to go to the hospital. Do you think it's appropriate for so many people to go to the hospital?"

Han Jun shaked his head dejectedly, "No Big boss, I didn't know that you were going to the hospital. In that case, you can go by yourself. If you need anything, call me anytime."

Qin Yan nodded and bade goodbye to her team mates.

Angel Hospital.

Qin Yan paid the taxi fare and climbed down. She stood at the entrance of the Angel hospital.

This was one of the biggest hospitals in the country and one with the best doctors and best facilities.

In her previous life, she had gotten an offer to work in this hospital but she rejected the offer because she wanted to work in the military.

The hospital was a huge building consisting of several wings with a clock in the middle. The entrance of the hospital did not consist of many people as they were being guided and helped by the respective staff members.

Qin Yan entered the hospital. On her left was the inquiry room. A lady receptionist was on duty there. Then she saw the casualty room adjacent to the reception. All cases of emergency were attended upon.

The floor was shining clean and the pathway led Qin Yan to a big and spacious waiting room.

Qin Yan sat in the waiting room, waiting for Elder Su to come over. She had already informed him of her arrival and he told her that he will also reach within ten minutes.

After exactly ten minutes, Qin Yan saw Elder Su walking over.

"Elder Su," Qin Yan greeted.

Elder Su nodded and instructed Qin Yan to follow him.

Qin Yan followed Elder Su to an empty chamber. Elder Su got seated on the main chair and made Qin Yan sit opposite him.

"Miss Qin, I have called you to accompany me here to see a patient. Although you are not officially my disciple yet, with your abilities this is not far away," Elder Su said as a matter of fact.

He continued, "I have been called here by the patient's family members to take a look at him. Normally I would not respond to most of these calls, but this time the patient is a very prestigious member of the country. So, I had to oblige with them."

"I will tell you the details of his condition and then you can accompany me to his room. You will have to give your inputs about his situation to me. This can also be considered one of your tests. Is that fine with you?" Elder Su asked.

"No problem," replied Qin Yan with a nod.

"Okay so a few months ago, the patient was shot near his heart. Normally it is very difficult to save such a patient but he was lucky that a very skilled doctor was present at the site. She operated on the patient immediately and removed the bullet from his body. But the patient had suffered a huge blood loss till then and he slipped into coma."

"Afterwards he was shifted to this hospital for recuperation. His condition stabilized after a few days and the physical parameters also improved. But he didn't regain his consciousness."

"The doctors examined his condition carefully and after many attempts found out that he has lost a will to live."

"Normally, I don't take such cases because as doctors what we can do the most is to stabilize the patient's physical parameters. As for their mental ones, we can perform acupuncture if any abnormalities are detected in the brain. But a patient who doesn't want to live is the most difficult case. Our hands are tied in such cases."

"But this patient is a very important individual and thus I was obliged to take this case. There is no pressure on you to cure him and I brought you here just to braoden your horizons."

"Let's try our best to think of a solution to cure him."

Qin Yan listened to Elder Su's explanation and found a sense of melancholy in her heart. She didn't know what this feeling was but she still nodded at Elder Su.

After Qin Yan's affirmation, Elder Su took her to the topmost floor of the hospital. This was the VVIP floor and the whole floor consisted on only a single room.

The head nurse was following the master-disciple duo. She knew the identity of Elder Su but did not know who Qin Yan was. Still seeing a young girl accompanying the divine doctor, she placed no less importance on her.

Qin Yan was looking at everything curiously. She did not have an opportunity to visit this place before. Although she had an idea, she never had actually visited.

Qin Yan saw the luxurious decorations on this floor and found it no different from that of Five star hotels. The super rich sure knew how to enjoy. Even the hospital was designed so luxuriously for them.

As they walked further and they were about to reach the patient room, Qin Yan saw a man standing near the room. It seemed that he was waiting for someone. His back looked quite familiar to Qin Yan.

When the man heard the footsteps approaching, he turned around.
