Qin Yicheng was startled by Qin Yan's question, but for the sake of his daughter he said, "Yan Yan, it would be good if you can do what your mother says, otherwise Muran's reputation will go down the drain."

Qin Yan looked at Qin Yicheng disappointedly, "Her reputation will go down the drain! Then what about mine? What will teachers think about me? Won't everyone think that I took advantage of the school's victory and supported my sister even when she is wrong?"

"No matter what, I will not plead mercy for Qin Muran. She has to take responsibility for her actions and her words. I will not cover up for her," Qin Yan said firmly and turned to her room.

"Qin Yan! How dare you not obey your parents! You unfilial brat! Let me tell you, if you not plead mercy for Muran, then I will throw you out of my house!" Lu Yaran wailed.

Qin Yan ignored Lu Yaran and went to her room. She could still hear Lu Yaran scolding incessantly.

"Mom, what should we do? I don't think that sister will agree," Qin Muran asked worriedly.

"Muran, my baby, don't worry," Lu Yaran's face turned vicious, "This bitch is so full of herself because we provide her everything. Now that she has to get out of the house if she didn't help you, she will realize her place and behave obediently."

"Lu Yaran, aren't you being too much?" Qin Yicheng asked with a frown.

"Do you have any other solution?" Lu Yaran asked coldly.

This made Qin Yicheng regain his silence. That's right, they had no solution other than this.

Qin Yan knew Lu Yaran was being serious. It was the best thing for her. This was a good opportunity to move out of this house. It would be a waste if she did not cherish it.

With these thoughts in her mind, Qin Yan packed all her belongings in a suitcase. She didn't take much time beacuse there were very few things to pack. Most of her clothes were oversized, so there was no gain in taking them.

She didn't use any makeup, so other than skincare products, everything else was left behind.

What she packed carefully was the herbs that she had purchased from the herb pharmacy and those given to her by Su parents. She also packed her books and study material ehich would be needed for the college entrance examination.

But the problem was she did not have enough money on her hand. It seems she had to contact her 'friends'.

With everything packed, Qin Yan left her room and carried the suitcase in the living room.

The Qin trio was shocked to see her carrying the luggage.

Qin Yicheng came forward immediately, "Yan Yan, where are you going?" he said nervously.

"As mom said, if I don't help Qin Muran, she will kick me out of the house, so I am taking the initiative to leave myself," Qin Yan replied calmly.

"WHAT!" Qin parents and Qin Muran could not believe it.

Lu Yaran was even more baffled. She thought that by threatening her, Qin Yan would agree to help. She never expected her to take the initiative to leave the house.

Qin Muran didn't understand if she should be happy that Qin Yan was finally leaving the house or should be sad that her problem would not be solved.

"Sister, Mom was just joking. Where can you go? You don't even know the S city properly. And it's not good to stay at any friend's house. It's fine if you don't want to help me but don't leave the house," Qin Muran pretended to convince Qin Yan.

Hearing Qin Muran, Lu Yaran seemed to be enlightened, 'That's right, Qin Yan didn't know anything. She didn't have much money either. Also nobody will keep her in their house. She must be pretending. Let's see if she dares to step out of the house.'

"No, I am not joking! This is my decision. Since she doesn't want to help you, she has to leave. Go, get out now," Lu Yaran roared.

Qin Yan nodded calmly and walked out of the house.

Lu Yaran was surprised that Qin Yan could still keep up with her act.

But Qin Yicheng was not calm, "Lu Yaran, what are you doing! Bring her back now!" he said hurriedly.

Lu Yaran said, "Calm down husband. She doesn't know anybody in the city. Onky few of her friends. When she doesn't find a place to stay, she will ultimately crawl back home. Hmmph!"

Qin Yicheng thought that Lu Yaran made sense so he calmed down.

On the other hand, Qin Yan hailed a taxi. She didn't go to any friend's house but checked in a hotel near Shengyang High school.

After paying, the hotel staff led her to the room and told her how to contact the reception and the restaurant. Qin Yan thanked the hotel staff and closed the door.

The room was not bad and was worth the money paid. Now that she had left that house, she had to plan her future.

After taking a shower, Qin Yan opened her laptop and logged on to her weibo. She entered the username and password and texted her best friend.

She gave Yun Jian a long address and a simple message, "Come as soon as you can."

Qin Yan had asked Yun Jian to come to her current residency that is her hotel room.

Among all her friends, the latter was her most capable as well as her closest friend in her previous life.

Right after the message was sent, there was a reply ten minutes later. "I'll come over immediately after I'm done with my current task."

After getting the confirmation, Qin Yan shut her laptop, before ordering some dinner from the hotel.

The night slipped past peacefully.

The next day Qin Yan took a leave of absence from the school. Today was the day Qin Muran had to apologize and she was sure that the Qin family must be waiting at the school gates for her.

She had more than 150 missed calls from last night. Most of them from Lu Yaran. She also got many messages from her mother cursing her to the core.

The Qin Family did not know her location and thus all they could do was to wait at the school gates.

Qin Yan was not at all interested in the family drama and thus she chose to live in peace in the hotel room.

Qin Yan was in her hotel room with her laptop switched on as she logged on to her previous weibo.

"Beep, beep, beep."

Three beeps later, a notification window popped out. It was a recent message from Yun Jian that was short and sharp. "I'm in your hotel lobby."

Qin Yan pressed her lips while her fingers skid across the keyboard. "I will contact the reception. Come directly to room 301."

With that Qin Yan contacted the hotel reception and asked them to lead Yun Jian to her room.

After a while, Qin Yan heard a knock on the door. She got up from the sofa and walked towards the door.

As soon as she opened the door, she saw a graceful woman standing outside. She was wearing casual clothes and her uniform was nowhere to be seen. Qin Yan stepped aside and led the woman into her room.

Yun Jian could not help frowning deeply when she saw Qin Yan moving slowly toward them with both her hands in her pants pockets.

Who was this girl?

Qin Yan did not resemble her appearance from her previous life, other than her eyes which were strikingly similar to her previous life.

Qin Yan saw the confusing look in Yun Jian's eyes. She stared at Yun Jian with her clear eyes and slightly pressed her lips together, before reciting a code message.

In Qin Yan's past life, when she was still almighty Mo Ran, this message was something only she and Yun Jian knew.

"You…" Yun Jian was startled, "You're…Mo Ran?"

There was only the two of them in the hotel room. Yun Jian asked in disbelief with a deep frown while she stared at Qin Yan, who was seated on the bench opposite her, grinning with crescent eyes.

No matter how she looked at the girl in front of her, who had thin limbs and a flawlessly pretty face, she was still a stark contrast from the Mo Ran whom she knew – be it her face or her height.0

Currently, there were no outsiders. Qin Yan nodded at Yun Jian with a smirk. "Who else can it be other than me?"

That was also true. Aside from the two of them, how could a third person know of the code message between them?

"But how is this possible? Didn't you die? I saw your body with my own eyes!" Tears filled up in Yun Jian's eyes. Only she knew how saddened she was with her best friend's death.
