What if she couldn't treat you?
Elder Tang cleverly omitted that fact that Qin Yan was Elder Su's to-be-disciple.
In the absence of Elder Su, he had to protect Qin Yan.
Qin Yan looked at Elder Tang and said, "I want to treat Elder Han with traditional Chinese medicine."
"Qin Yan, what are you doing?" Elder Tang walked towards Qin Yan to bring her outside.
Elder Han shook his head with a bitter smile and pointed at Elder Tang. They had known each other for so many years, of course, he understood what he was thinking.
"Old Tang, calm down, I still want to live a few extra years. Let me gain something from the child's expert advice."
"Expert advice is a bit of a stretch," Elder Tang said. "She's still young. That turn of phrase is too much for her."
"That's about enough!" Elder Han rolled his eyes and looked at Elder Tang. "What? Don't you believe the girl?"
"Of course I believe her, but she's still young and doesn't understand a lot of things. Have you forgotten your identity? If she can treat you, then that would be great. But what if it doesn't work…?" Elder Tang asked.
Qin Yan finally understood the situation. Her eyes curved and her heart warmed receiving Elder Tang's protection.
Elder Han shook his head. "You sly fox! I know how my condition currently is! I'm just sitting here waiting for death. Living a few more days or dying earlier makes no difference for me. I just want to give the girl a chance!"
At this time, Han Jun looked straight into Father Han's eyes. "Father, you can take a chance at believing her."
Qin Yan had surprised him many times already. This time, he also hoped a miracle would happen. He would try anything just to save his grandfather.
"Fine, let's do it," Father Han said eventually.

The little bun was squatting near his condominium's entrance waiting for Qin Yan. He didn't know when Qin Yan left.
After enjoying the fairy faced rice cakes with his father, he got sleepy and slept for about 2-3 hours.
When he woke up, he immediately knocked the door of Qin Yan's condominium. But, even after knocking for a long time, there was no response. So, he eventually realised that Qin Yan was not at home.
The little guy then went to his father, but seeing his father busy with work, he left dejectedly.
He felt bored and missed Qin Yan so he just waited for her to come back.
When Qin Yan returned back, she saw the little guy dozing off near the door of the opposite condo.
She walked towards him and patted his back to wake him up, "Darling!"
The little bun opened his big eyes and looked at Qin Yan's face in confusion. The little confused bun was so cute that Qin Yan couldn't help but kiss his cheeks.
"Darling, what are you doing here? Why are you dozing off like this?" She asked while picking up the little bun in her arms.
The little guy opened his eyes fully, "I was waiting for you, Sister Yan."
Hearing the little bun, warmth erupted in Qin Yan's heart. She couldn't help but hug the little guy tighter.
"Next time, don't wait for me like this. You have my contact number, right? You can just call me anytime," Qin Yan tapped her finger on the little guy's nose.
The little bun knew that he could contact Qin Yan but he feared that she might find him irritable if he clinged onto her. 'Also, what if she's busy and I disrupt her work? Won't she be mad at me!' he trembled.
This was why he chose to wait for her patiently.
Qin Yan brought the little bun in her apartment and made him sit in the living room. She then cut some fruits and offered it to him to eat till she was freshening up. She also switched the television on so that the little guy won't get bored.
"Darling, be comfortable. I will come back in a while after freshening up, okay?"
The little guy nodded obediently.
Qin Yan smiled and ruffled his hair before going back to her bedroom.
The little guy watched Qin Yan leave and touched his hair. His little mouth curved up.

After a while, Qin Yan walked in the living room wearing comfortable clothes. She saw the little guy sitting in the same position since she left. It seemed that he hadn't even moved an inch. The bowl in front of him was empty as he had eaten the fruits.
When he heard the footsteps, the little guy immediately perked up and looked at Qin Yan walking towards him. She then sat near him before pulling him into her lap and hugging him.
The little guy's ears turned red. He was very shy being hugged by Qin Yan.
Qin Yan didn't know why but she especially liked the little bun in her arms. It was like whenever he was in her arms, she felt complete.
She looked at the little guy's red ears and blushed face and chuckled. However she did not expose the little one.
"Darling, what do you want to do now?" she asked.
"Will Sister Yan accompany me?" he asked expectantly.
"Yes, I am done with my work. So sister Yan will definitely accompany you," Qin Yan said with a smile.
The little one's eyes lit up.
"Okay, I need to do my homework. Will sister Yan help me in doing my homework?" the little guy asked.
"Okay, Sister Yan also needs to study. So let's study together, what say?"
Hearing so, the little guy clearly became even happier. He even slightly raised the corner of his mouth.
Qin Yan's heart almost bled out of cuteness. She couldn't resist grabbing his little cheeks and rubbing, "Darling, smile more, you're too cute when you smile!"
The little bun then brought Qin Yan to the opposite condo. Qin Yan sighed, 'I am just running back and forth between the two houses.'
Xi Ting was nowhere to be seen. Qin Yan had been a little worried on how to help him in studies. What would she do if she didn't help him properly…
However, all her worries came to nothing.
The little bun didn't ask her even a single question. She read a book while camped on the sofa. Little bun was sprawled out on the table at the side, either reading or writing. The two of them did not bother each other and got along harmoniously.
The little guy passed his time like usual, reading books or writing. It looked like there was nothing out of the ordinary, but upon closer observation, you could see that he would sneak a peek at Qin Yan from time to time. The expression on his face was both lively and at peace.
An hour had already passed unknowingly. Suddenly, Qin Yan heard a thud. Since she practiced martial arts, her five senses were especially sharp and she could hear even a tiniest sound and detect a simplest presence.
She then got up and walked towards the origin of the noise. The little bun seemed to be immersed in his books so he didn't even look up. But if someone would see closely, one would be able to see a devilish smile on the little guy's face.
Qin Yan reached Xi Ting's bedroom. 'Is he alright?' she mumbled to herself, her gaze fixed on the closed door. She was contemplating whether to open the door and check on him. The door wasn't locked at all.
However her worry presided over her courtesy. She turned the doorknob and opened the door. Upon entering the room, the first thing she saw was a reading corner. There was a table set and a big bookshelf on the corner.
The bed was still hidden from her sight. She had to walk another ten steps to see the bed. To Qin Yan's surprise, Xi Ting was nowhere to be found.
Walking forward, Qin Yan looked around. Her gaze caught a portrait which was kept on the side table of Xi Ting's bed.
The lady in the photo had a beautiful face and jade like eyes. She was smiling cheerfully and her eyes shone with light.
It was her in the previous life. Qin Yan was shocked. 'What does this mean! Why is he keeping my photo on his bedside!'1
Qin Yan then realised that Xi Ting's feelings for her were more than that of a friend. In her previous life, she sensed some affection from him but he had never clearly told her that he had feelings for her.
She took a deep breath, turning around to leave. She was so immersed in her thoughts that she forgot the reason of coming to this room.
But even before she could take another step, Qin Yan bumped into something hard and wet.
When she raised her head, her eyes widened in shock as she saw Xi Ting's icy and prying brown eyes. He just came out of nowhere.
