Qin Yan sighed at the information displayed on the laptop screen. Xu Dong had confessed to all the crimes just to maintain the harmony in his family and to give his sister some peace. But the truth was something else. The crime was not committed by Xu Dong at all. Instead, it involved an element of Skylark Entertainment who had targeted Xu Dong and Xu Lei.

The day of the press conference finally came. Countless reporters were gathered in the auditorium of Starlight Entertainment's building. A few artists and managers that were loyal to Starlight Entertainment and who stayed till the end were also present. Anxiety and nervousness could be clearly seen on their faces.

Fans of Ji Lingchen and others had flooded the auditorium since that morning. They wanted to fight for their idols if they saw any injustice directed towards them. The whole auditorium was severely congested although the invitation to the press conference was extremely precious.

In the hospital, Xu Lei's face paled seeing her best friend near the offending car. She knew that Chi Yue was present on the accident day but she didn't know that she went into the garage. Her mind was messed up because it was Chi Yue who was adamant that the culprit was Xu Dong. She didn't even say that the rain was too heavy that day for her to identify the driver but she confidently said that the culprit was Xu Dong.

Before anyone could say anything, another video was played. Even though it was only 30 seconds long, the content was very interesting, it grabbed everyone's attention.

"Xu Dong! It is the Starlight Entertainment's former CEO Xu Dong!" a reporter exclaimed.

"Why is Xu Dong in the video? What is this lady trying to show?" Another reporter asked.

These were the people who didn't know till now that the video was the evidence of Xu Dong's crime. The people like Xu Lei, Chi Yue, Chi Yang and Xu parents were already pale.

Ji Lingchen and others stood at the corner stunned.

At this time, Qin Yan took over the mic and explained, "As you can see, this is the video footage of the day when the accident of young and rising star Xu Lei happened. Today, I stand here to bring justice to the innocent and to punish the real culprit. Please watch further." Qin Yan's voice reverberated in the entire venue. Most of the people got goosebumps on their bodies hearing her powerful voice.

Back to the video, from his side profile and hairstyle, the person did look a bit like Xu Dong. But if observed closely, it would be clear that this guy was trying to disguise himself as Xu Dong!

A voice came out from the audience. It was of a reporter who recognised Chi Yang at a glance.

When Chi Yang saw Xu Dong run out from the house, he immediately hurried to the underground garage. When Xu Lei came out of the house hurrying after her brother, Chi Yang drove the car right at Xu Lei.

When he got out from the car, Chi Yue was standing right there. As Chi Yang was dressed as Xu Dong, Chi Yue made use of angles to take some 'incriminating' pictures.

Chi Yang thought that the idea was fabulous. He even threw in a short video of 'Xu Dong' sitting at the driver's seat.

With the videos and pictures, Chi Yue started to spread the news that Xu Dong was the one who drove into Xu Lei. At the same time, the technical expert of Skylark Entertainment was ordered to delete all the relevant surveillance footage. The only footage that remained was of 'Xu Dong' inside the car.

Chi Yue snuck the video past the doctors and nurses and showed it to Xu Lei. She also implanted the idea in Xu Lei's mind that it was Xu Dong who injured her and ruined her life. Whenever Xu Lei started to question anything, Chi Yue would say, "Yes, it was Xu Dong who did this."

Xu Lei was thus led to believe that everything was Xu Dong's fault.

Xu lei, who laid in bed, opened her mouth but in the end, she said nothing. How did things turn out like this?

Mother Xu glanced at Xu Lei in bed. She wondered what was going through her daughter's mind now.

Xu Dong had tried to explain the situation to them before but none of them was willing to believe him. This was a hard lesson for the members of the Xu Family.

Xu Lei lifted her head to look at the ceiling to stop the tears from falling. There was an inexplicable feeling in her heart.

In the auditorium, after the video ended, Qin Yan presented the whole incident to the audience with relevant documents and pictures as evidences.

The whole auditorium had a pin drop silence. No one could digest the facts easily. The video clearly showed that everything was orchestrated by the Chi siblings against the Xu siblings. But why? Why would they do this? Obviously it was done to take down the CEO of Starlight Entertainment Xu Dong and the rising model and actress Xu Lei at the same time. It was hitting two targets with a same stone at the same time.

The Skylark Entertainment had planned it too well. But Qin Yan's entry was a shock to them.
