A day out!

A cute and adorable child with a gorgeous girl! The photo came out to be awesome and it looked like the two people in the photo had a strange connection with each other.

"Dad, you also come here. Uncle will take our picture," the little bun said to Xi Ting.

Xi Jung: "...." What am I? Who am I? Why am I fed with unnecessary dog food?

Xi Ting stuffed the phone in Xi Jung's hands and walked towards Qin Yan and his son to pose for the picture.

"Let's make another pose. Dad, sister Yan, you two form a heart and I will stay in the middle, okay?" The little guy instructed Qin Yan and Xi Ting seriously.

Xi Jung's mouth twitched looking at the three people in front of him. They looked like a family of three and he seemed to be an outcast.

Qin Yan and Xi Ting looked at each other and obeyed the little bun. They posed properly and took a picture.

Xi Jung took a photo with a weird look on his face.

"Here!" Xi Jung handed the phone back to Qin Yan after taking the picture.

"Brother, I need to leave now!" Without waiting for Xi Ting's answer, Xi Jung ran away like a ghost was chasing him. He didn't want to eat any more dog food.

Qin Yan was dumbfounded. 'What just happened?' she wondered.

The father-son duo stood calmly without any change of expression.

Qin Yan looked at them and sighed. The whole family is weird. She shook her head to dispel these thoughts and asked the little guy, "Baby, what is your plan for today?"

The little guy looked at Qin Yan with sparkling eyes and replied, "Sister Yan, I want to go to amusement park. Will you come with us?"

Qin Yan was surprised at what the little guy said, "Baby, I can come to the amusement park with you, but your father cannot. He is still recuperating." She reminded the little bun.

"Huh, dad you have already been healed right? You were about to return to the capital next week!" The little bun looked at his father confusedly.

"WHAT! You are going back?" Qin Yan sprang up and asked Xi Ting.

Xi Ting looked at Qin Yan and the little guy and sighed. 'It is so troublesome to have a smart child!' he thought.

He turned towards Qin Yan and replied, "The doctor has given me a clean chit so I can return anytime. But I won't return till I get your answer," he explained to Qin Yan.

Qin Yan listened to Xi Ting and was stunned. She didn't know that Xi Ting was staying here just for her. He was waiting for her answer and her truth. She didn't even know that he had been healed. How ignorant was she to not know anything!

"Okay!" she nodded at Xi Ting.

"Dad, what are you two talking about?" the little bun was puzzled by the two adults talking to each other, "Can we please go to the amusement park today? Please?" he hugged Xi Ting's leg and pleaded.

"Okay! Let's go to the amusement park!" Xi Ting agreed to his son.

Hearing his father's agreement, the little fella shifted his focus towards Qin Yan and hugged her leg, "Sister Yan, I have never been to an amusement park before. Dad has also not gone there before. Can you come with us, please?"

Qin Yan looked at the cute round and pleading eyes of the little bun and could not bring herself to refuse him, "Okay, let's go to the amusement park." She adjusted her mood and suggested, "But let's go to the shopping mall first. We all will buy matching outfits for visiting the amusement park. Is it okay with you, Young Master Xi?" she directed her question towards Xi Ting.

Xi Ting nodded, "Okay!"

"Yay!"

"Yay!"

Two happy voices sounded at the same time. Xi Ting revealed a smile on his face seeing Qin Yan and the little bun so happy.

The trio then left for the shopping mall where Qin Yan went on a shopping spree. She selected three outfits suitable for the three of them.

Qin Yan first turned around to change then handed Xi Ting's clothes to him.

Qin Yan was wearing overalls made with the same material as the jeans the little guy was wearing. Inside the overalls, she was wearing the same t-shirt with the pink cartoon pig. She looked even younger.

"Young Master Xi, quickly put it on too! A family needs to be complete and together!" Qin Yan excitedly pressured him.

Xi Ting looked at the t-shirt in his hands with the pink cartoon pig. "…"

Evidently, a certain someone had never worn something so childish in his entire life…

After some time:

Qin Yan and Xi Ting along with Xiaobao headed out after they finished changing and paying the bill.

The family of three then drove towards the biggest amusement park in S City.

Today, the trio's matching cartoon outfits were very appropriate for being at this type of setting.

Qin Yan was holding hands with the little fella. "Darling, there's a lot of people here, so hold onto Daddy's and Sister's hands!"

The little fella peered at the tall man beside him.

Xi Ting gazed back and held out his hand.

The little fella hesitated, but in the end, he reached out as well and held hands with Xi Ting.

They had only arrived at the entrance when Qin Yan saw the beautiful cotton candy.

Xi Ting and the little guy stared at the colourful unknown object with mixed feelings and tilted their head in curiosity. Both of them asked at the same time, "This is… edible?"

Qin Yan placed a hand on her forehead. 'Oh god, have they really never visited an amusement park!' She sighed, "Yes, it's cotton candy."

Xi Ting knowingly took out his wallet to pay, "How many do you want?"

Qin Yan: "It's so large so one is enough!"

A very colourful heart-shaped piece of cotton candy was quickly prepared for them.

"Come, Darling, try it!" Qin Yan placed the cotton candy in front of the little bun.

The little fella carefully took a bite and immediately brightened up as it melted in his mouth. It was sweet…

The adult and child pair both didn't know how to have fun. Luckily, Qin Yan was there.

"Wow! We're actually so lucky! There's a parade today! There's also a fireworks show!"

"Whoa! That headband is so cute! I have to buy it!"

"Whoa! That lollipop looks delicious! I have to buy it!"

"I also want that balloon…"

Qin Yan was even more excited than a child, skipping as she dragged the adult and child pair everywhere with her. She nearly bought one of everything that was available for sale. Xi Ting diligently hovered behind, guarding the pair from the crowd unless he had to go to the front to pay for Qin Yan's purchases.

After a short while, Xiaobao's hands were stuffed with Qin Yan's items. In his left hand was a gigantic rainbow lollipop and in his right was a balloon. On his head, he wore cat ears and around his neck, he wore a beautiful flower wreath.

Qin Yan and Xi Ting also had the same flower wreaths around their necks but Qin Yan was wearing bunny ears while Xi Ting was wearing wolf ears and a black mask Qin Yan made him wear.

They passed by a photobooth and Qin Yan dragged the "father-son" pair to take photos. They were such priceless treasures!0

Qin Yan laughed as she went through them several times before handing them over to Xiaobao. "Here, Darling, you take care of them!"

The little fella carefully accepted them, treating the photos like precious baubles as he looked at them with his big eyes. "En!"

Night quickly arrived and the flower parade begun. There were more and more people present and it was becoming more crowded. Excited voices were building up in the surrounding area.

Xiaobao was so small so his field of vision was quickly blocked by many people.

Xi Ting glanced at the girl-child duo and handed his snacks to Qin Yan, "Hold these."

"Huh? Oh…" Qin Yan took the snacks.

Afterwards, Qin Yan saw Xi Ting bending down. With one arm, he picked up Xiaobao and with his other arm, he pulled Qin Yan into his embrace, separating them from the crowd…

Qin Yan blinked. She felt her heart beating like crazy.

Xi Ting actually appeared so much more handsome than usual when he picked up Xiaobao.

The sun was setting slowly and their trip to the amusement park was coming to an end. The crowd dispersed as people left.

Qin Yan ran off to buy a souvenir as Xi Ting waited in place while holding the little guy.

When it was time to go, Qin Yan watched the father-son pair and couldn't help taking out her phone to capture the moment.

Their day ended just like that.
