Has he gone crazy?
During this period, Qin Yan had passed a lot of her own materials to class four. She had also tutored them and brought their grades up. The students in class four now had a different sense of unity and cohesion.
"Okay, let's not stand around. We can talk after going in," Xing Ningjing said, standing up and clearing his throat.
He walked in front of Qin Yan and motioned with his eyes for class four to follow him.
"Yes, let's go in first." Zhen Kai smiled and reacted. He put away his shocked expression and said, "I've booked two rooms with the class monitor, rooms 1202 and 1203."
The group of people agreed and went inside merrily. But even though they were smiling, you could feel like their atmosphere wasn't quite right.
Qin Yan was surrounded by class four, standing at the very center position among all of them!
In the room, class four's atmosphere wasn't very good.
They had been drinking merrily just now.
Qin Yan couldn't drink with her injured hand, so she didn't touch the glass and just sat beside Qiao Qing.
Graduating from the third year of high school meant having the freedom to go to different places. To be able to gather even after the college entrance examination, class four was considered an extraordinary class.
Halfway through a drink, Qin Yan glanced at the time and prepared to leave.
Nobody dared to stop her nor retain her. They all thought that she was upset, so they stood up and sent her to the elevator.
After her departure, they started talking about her.
Wang Zhongyan sorted out all the documents and rushed over at that time to see half the class in low spirits.
"What's wrong? Everyone didn't do well in the exams?" Wang Zhongyan glanced at them. His chubby face was all smiles and he looked very kind.
"No," the class monitor stood up and said. "Big boss passed us a lot of notes during these days, so we all did very well."
Reaching out to push the glasses on the bridge of his nose, Wang Zhongyan sat down in the seat reserved for him and continued probing, "Then what's wrong with you guys? The exam is over, shouldn't you be happy now that it's over and done with?"
Hearing this, they were silent and no one dared to speak.
Something was definitely wrong.
Wang Zhongyan turned to Xing Ningjing and smiled. "Xing Ningjing, tell me, what happened?"
Downing a glass of wine, his face turned red, but his mind was still very clear. He pursed her lips and said tearfully, "Teacher Wang, don't be too upset when I tell you. Big boss fractured her left hand before the college entrance examination."
"A fractured left hand?" He froze. He really hadn't heard of this news. In order to avoid adding stress to the students, he hadn't said anything in the group chat and hadn't called them either. "She didn't take the exam?"
Xing Ningjing shook his head. "She did."
"Oh." Wang Zhongyan pondered for a moment and nodded. "I understand."
Ever since the midterm exam last semester, he already knew that Qin Yan wasn't left-handed.
Wang Zhongyan heaved a sigh of relief.
He then looked down and sent a message to Qin Yan—
[How was your math exam?]
She replied very quickly—
[150.]
She very arrogantly gave herself full marks.
Wang Zhongyan felt the itch to whip his favorite student and tell her to get off her high horse.
But the corners of his mouth were curled up in joy, and his delighted smile was blatant to all.
Xing Ningjing, the class monitor, Qiao Qing, and the others all exchanged glances.
"Don't tell me he lost his mind because of Big boss?" Zhen Kai scratched his head.
How could he still smile?
How could he smile so happily?
Wang Zhongyan had already been exceptionally concerned about Qin Yan when she was still a school drag. As a class teacher, he was few and far between.
Let alone Qin Yan, even if it had been any random student in class four, he would still feel very distressed.
Not to mention the dark horse, Qin Yan.
Qiao Qing took her wine glass and murmured, "Maybe?"
Sitting down, Wang Zhongyan raised his glass merrily and proposed a toast. "The end of the third year of high school marks the beginning of a brand new journey. I hope everyone can enter the university they desire…"
Actually, the new Qin Yan hadn't bothered to hide the truth in her daily life. She buttoned her button and twisted the lid of her bottles with her right hand. The fact that she wasn't left-handed was easily detectable by anyone who had studied psychology…
Wang Zhongyan glanced at the group of worried students and couldn't help but sigh. For some reason, he had also learned from Qin Yan's sense of amusement and didn't say a word at this point…

On the other side.
Qin Yan returned to Peaceful Retreat and knocked on Xi Ting's door. He had not joined her for the gathering as it was her classmates and he didn't think that it was appropriate for him to join.
They had mutually decided that Qin Yan would live with Xi Ting atleast till she adjusts living and working with one hand. Now that it was the college entrance exam, Xi Ting did not want her to put efforts in adjusting herself. So she was still living with him now.
The door opened and Xi Ting gave way for Qin Yan to enter.
"Are you feeling okay? Any pain in your hand?" He asked her when they finally sat on the couch.
"I am okay. No pain," Qin Yan smiled at Xi Ting. She looked at him and felt happiness in her heart. Just staying with him gave her a sense of relief and satisfaction. Him being around her was enough for her to feel happy and safe.
Xi Ting nodded and got up to bring some warm water from the kitchen. He had not done much kitchen work before Qin Yan came in his life but now he was doing everything readily. It seemed like taking care of her was imbibed in his bones.
He brought a cup of warm water and handed it to Qin Yan, "Here."
Qin Yan took the cup from him and drank it sip by sip. She then handed the empty cup back to Xi Ting and he took it naturally for washing.
If anybody else would see this, their eyes would be popped open seeing the richest man of the country doing these things for a girl. But Qin Yan and Xi Ting did not feel anything weird as they took all this as normal interaction between couples.
When one was sick, the other partner would take care of the former. This is common in every couple in love, and even the richest man in the country was not immune to it.
"Have you had dinner?" Qin Yan asked Xi Ting.
"No, I was waiting for you," he replied while wiping his hands on a towel.
"It's late, you should have had it already. I have eaten a little and do not have much space in my stomach," Qin Yan said frowning. She was not happy learning that he had not eaten anything till now and he might be hungry because of her.
Xi Ting came near her and put a strand of her hair behind her ear, "It's okay, I was not hungry. I have ordered all the light dishes. You can eat how much you want, I will finish the rest. Okay?"
Qin Yan nodded still unhappy. Her face was scrunched up like an unhappy child, "You should not wait for me if you are hungry from now on. Also if you are waiting in any chance, you should let me know. Promise me.."0
Xi Ting looked at the unhappy child in front of him and love overflowed from his heart. He leaned forward and hugged Qin Yan while taking care of not squeezing her injured hand. He then consoled the girl in his arms, "Okay, I promise. I will listen to you from now on. Fine?"
Qin Yan heard his heartbeats and felt a warmth in her heart. She broke the hug and smiled happily at the man in front of her, "Okay, now you have promised me. You cannot go back on your word."
Xi Ting gazed at Qin Yan and kissed her forehead before replying, "Yes, I won't go back on my words, happy now?"
"Very happy!" Qin Yan exclaimed happily.
"Wait here, I will call them to deliver the food. Till then, you can get freshened up. If you need any help, call me aloud," Xi Ting gave instructions to Qin Yan and the latter nodded affirmatively.
Both of them then continued their tasks. Qin Yan went to her room and freshened up sloppily. Now she had to adjust to work by one hand as she didn't want Xi Ting to suffer because of her. He had so much work burden and she did not want to become another burden for him.
