A diary?
In actual fact, Xi Ting only said that because he was talking to Qin Yan. If it was someone else standing in her position, things wouldn't be this simple.0
After forcing herself to calm down, Qin Yan carefully approached the camera and faced the little guy.
She waved in front of the camera to catch the attention of the little bun. After three or four times, the little guy finally noticed Qin Yan. His face froze along with his body. After a couple of seconds, he regained his senses and the home theatre was turned off.
Xi Jung's face brightened. He knew it! Qin Yan was the only person who could handle the little devil. He glanced at his brother and saw his stoic face lit up. Xi Ting was gazing at Qin Yan lovingly.
Meanwhile, the little bun removed his noise cancelling headphones and waited for Qin Yan to speak up.
Qin Yan saw that the situation has improved and heaved a sigh of relief, "Darling, look sister is here. Won't you open the door for me?" Qin Yan asked gently.
The little guy nodded and immediately typed fervently on the computer. The electrical appliances that were on obediently shut off and the door to the villa opened.
All the servants heaved a sigh of relief. They felt that their ears would stop working but because the person wreaking havoc was the little young master of Xi family, they could not do anything.
The servants also witnessed that just a sentence from an unknown girl was enough to calm the little master down. The little devil whom even Xi Ting found hard to control was coaxed by just a statement from Qin Yan. This made the servants look at Qin Yan curiously.
On this side, Qin Yan walked into the villa along with Xi Ting, with Xi Jung in the tow. They climbed up the stairs and reached the control room that the little guy was in.
While Xi Ting and Xi Jung did not go too near to the little guy, Qin Yan carefully approached him one step at a time.
Qin Yan walked up to the Little bun and then slowly squatted down, "Darling, what is the matter? Why are you so angry? Did anyone do anything to my baby?" Qin Yan asked gently.
The little guy's big eyes reddened as he buried his head in Qin Yan's embrace, refusing to let go no matter what.
Qin Yan's heart ached fiercely as she saw the little bun that had been so cute, soft and lovely the last time in a pitiful state.
As the little bun separated from Qin Yan, She didn't know why but she felt guilty and could only lower her head sadly.
After some time, a tiny little hand holding a gift suddenly appeared in her line of sight.
"This is…" Qin Yan looked up immediately in surprise and happiness. However, not a single trace of emotion showed on the little guy's face.
Qin Yan took the gift and unwrapped it to reveal a diary. The front cover of the diary stunned Qin Yan. It was a drawing of a little boy sitting alone sadly. Loneliness was depicted in the picture clearly as the little guy's expression was extremely sad.
As Qin Yan turned to the next page, it showed a dark coloured room with the little guy and his father in it. Both the people had stoic faces without any smile on them.
The next page showed a little guy sitting in a park alone looking at other children playing with their parents. His face didn't show any expressions but his eyes were sad.
When turned to the next page, the little guy was accompanied by a girl. In this picture, his face evidently lit up and a small curve could be seen on his lips.
The next page showed a man and the girl together. The stoic faced man also revealed a smile while looking at the girl.
The last page was painted with a man, the girl and the little guy together. The background was bright and all the three people's faces were full of smiles as they looked like a complete family.
Finally on the back cover, some words were engraved. "Thank you for coming in our lives and making us so happy!"
Qin Yan was in a daze. Her tears flew down without restraint as she couldn't control them. She was more than surprised. At this time, a small hand wiped her tears away. She looked up and saw the little guy looking at her worriedly.
At the side, Xi Jung glanced at the diary in the palm of Qin Yan's hand and spoke, "This is the present that baby made for you. All the drawings and paintings were made by little Xiaobao himself. We had decided to meet you today so the little guy stayed awake whole night to complete this present for you. But when he got ready, Brother told him that he was going alone."
When Qin Yan heard this, she was moved to tears in an instant. The little bun had spent so much effort preparing a present. He must have been so excited in the beginning, only to experience cold loneliness when Xi Ting refused to take him to Qin Yan.
How painful must the whole process have been to him?
Upon thinking that, Qin Yan felt as though a knife was being twisted in her heart. She hugged the little guy, not wanting to let him go for even a second, "Darling, thank you so much! This is the best present I have ever gotten!"
Xi Ting and Xi Jung dared not to disturb the two of them.
After a while, Qin Yan picked the little guy up in her arms and looked at Xi Ting. Her gaze was furious as she asked, "Young Master Xi, may I ask why you ditched little Xiaobao and refused to bring him to me? You promised him on the first day and turned back on your words the next day? Where is your integrity? Did you feed it to dogs?"
Qin Yan was furious. She scolded Xi Ting fiercely, "Do you want to teach this to the little bun? To go back on your words? Moreover, after all this, you still had guts to scold my darling. There's a huge problem with the way you're raising him. Children need warmth when they're this small. Also they need to be shown the right conduct. My darling doesn't have a mother by his side. How can you be this fierce towards him? You should be more patient and forgiving with him."
Xi Ting: "It was my fault."
Xi Jung: "…" Ha ha.
Xi Jung's expression was full of joy upon hearing his own brother admitting his fault this readily.
You showed me a black face when I told you there was something wrong with your education method. Yet you accepted it so obediently when Qin Yan said it!
The little bun was like a little puppy that had found its owner ever since Qin Yan had come. He let Qin Yan lead him back to his room obediently. A totally different person from the little lion cub that had been going crazy earlier.
Qin Yan also ignored Xi Ting totally and chatted with the little guy, "Darling, how are you this clever? Not only you know how to draw and paint but you also know how to alter the automatic machines! You're really super, super, super clever! You're only five years old, yet you're already such a pro! You're a genius!!"
Even though the little bun's expression was still wooden, the light in his eyes had brightened considerably.
However, Xi Ting standing off to the side couldn't continue watching. He sighed gently, "Yan Yan, you shouldn't be praising him in this situation."
Qin Yan did not respond to Xi Ting and ignored him completely. However, she heard his words and felt that he was talking sense. She made up her mind to speak to the little guy whenever his mood turned right.
Truthfully, she was being selfish. She didn't want to criticise the little bun given the circumstances today. She loved him so dearly and she couldn't even dote on him enough. How could she bear to say any harsh words to him?
Thankfully, Xi Ting didn't force the issue in the end.
For the most part, his principles were as solid as floating clouds when he was with Qin Yan. Secondly, everything that happened today was somehow his fault too. So he didn't dare to speak much.
Ever since Qin Yan had come back, the little bun seemed to have switched on his shadow mode. He would follow her wherever she walked, not willing to let even an inch of distance separate them.
Qin Yan then tried to coax him to sleep after she had finished setting down rules for him. In a soft tone, "Uh, how about I sing a song for my darling today?"
