Xi Jung cleverly handed a glass of warm water to her. Qin Yan drank the water sip by sip and felt her body relax.

"What was I saying earlier..?" Qin Yan reopened the topic again.

On the other hand, seeing his cookie yawning, Xi Ting noticed that Qin Yan was already sleepy. He walked towards her and sat on the couch while taking her in his arms, "Baby, are you feeling sleepy?" he asked gently.

Qin Yan smelled a cedar fragrance coming from Xi Ting and being in his arms, she eased further. With her eyes half closed, she nodded her head giving affirmation to Xi Ting's question.

Xi Ting picked Qin Yan up in his arms and carried her to the little guy's bedroom. Qin Yan was already half asleep as she got carried into the room. Xi Ting did not do anything weird now as he knew that the little guy's condition was not good today. If he didn't see Qin Yan near him, it was possible that he would freak out.

Xi Ting walked in with light footsteps and placed the sleepy Qin Yan on the bed. Under the warm glow of the bedside lamp, Qin Yan's breathing was shallow, and her expression warm. Her soft lips were like cherry blossoms blooming in summer, slightly open like an unspoken invitation…

Xi Ting gazed at his girl and his lips curled up. After a moment, a dark shadow abruptly fell over the warm patch of light as Xi Ting's silhouette drew closer and closer to those pink…

He was close enough to feel her breathing. He gently pecked her lips before placing a strand of hair behind her ear. Gazing at his love, a cool kiss landed on the Qin Yan's forehead.

She found that the little bun was already awake when she woke up.

After washing up, they headed downstairs to find breakfast already prepared.

Xi Ting was sitting in the dining room with a newspaper in his hand. Xi Jung was nowhere to be seen. Probably he hadn't woken up till now.

As he saw Qin Yan and his son in the dining room, Xi Ting signalled the servants to serve the breakfast.

Qin Yan fed the little guy very patiently. Xi Ting on the other hand kept placing the food in Qin Yan's bowl. The scene was very heartwarming and the family of three enjoyed this rare time together.

As Qin Yan had the last bite of her meal, she glanced at the little guy and said, "Darling, I need to return to the campus now."

Qin Yan carefully observed the little guy's expressions and as expected his face darkened. Qin Yan picked up the little bun and made him sit on her lap. Her heart ached as she saw little Xiaobao's crestfallen expression.

Qin Yan coaxed him patiently, "Baby, don't be upset. Seeing you sad makes sister's heart ache."

The little guy swallowed his food and finally looked at Qin Yan with his big round eyes. He looked extremely pitiful as he asked, "Then when will sister come to see me again?" Xi Xiaobao asked but his tone clearly indicated that he knew that Qin Yan would not visit him for many days.

Qin Yan felt bad seeing the little guy in this state. 'How insecure and lonely was he? Had she neglected him due to her work?'

Qin Yan didn't know why she was affected so much by the little guy. She was not a person who loved little kids, but why did she want to dote on the little guy!

She couldn't bear to see the little bun in this state so she explained, "Darling, don't worry. I will come every weekend. Then we will play and have lots of fun together!"

Hearing so, the little guy's dark expression disappeared without a trace and he clearly became even happier. He even slightly raised the corner of his mouth.

After the breakfast, Qin Yan bade goodbye to the little guy.
