"My parents constantly ask me to do something about my birthmark. I was really pissed and thus told him about my problem..I was crying a lot so maybe he got irritated and said that it is your problem, you should deal with it. Don't cry in front of me everytime.." Qiao Qing appeared downcast.2

"Then after sometime he called again and apologized to me. He said that my parents don't know my worth and thus they are torturing me. He also said some unpleasant things about my parents as he was angry on my behalf.."

Qiao Qing then held Qin Yan's hands before continuing, "But Yan Yan, no matter what, they are my parents. Other than not being satisfied by me, they have provided me everything that I want. Sometimes just because I gaze at something for a long time, my father thinks that I need it and before I could ask for the thing, it is already in my hands."

"It's natural for me to get angered by them when they piss me off, but I don't think that my boyfriend should be angry on my behalf. He doesn't have the right to.."

"My parents pamper me a lot. And because they are concerned for me, so they say things about removing my birthmark. They do not know the influence of their words on me, but I am damn sure that they do not wish to hurt me," Qiao Qing analyzed everything in front of Qin Yan.

"However, Brother Shen's behaviour is weird. One time he says that I should solve the problem by myself and other time he says that my parents are bad people. I do not like anybody saying anything bad about my parents. So I felt really uncomfortable then," Qiao Qing concluded.

Qin Yan nodded at Qiao Qing's explanation. She was happy that atleast her friend shared her thoughts with her. But her face turned dark at Shen Yong's actions.

She looked at Qiao Qing, "Qing Qing, let me give you some advice," Qin Yan said, "I don't know if I am overstepping my boundaries, but I would still like to speak my mind."

"Being in a relationship is a serious thing. Before you give your heart away, you'd better check whether the man beside you is worthy! Some people don't deserve your love at all."

"Don't waste your effort on someone who doesn't deserve it. It will only harm you and others."

"What do you mean?" Qiao Qing was puzzled at Qin Yan's advice.

"I mean that Shen Yong is not worthy of you. If you are thinking of any future with him, you might as well reevaluate your decision," Qin Yan told Qiao Qing, "You are my friend so I am being this straightforward towards you. What to do is still upto you."

Qiao Qing's face was pale. She looked at Qin Yan with a complicated gaze. A strand of hair fell on the side of Qin Yan's fair face, making her look even more beautiful. She seemed to be glowing. She was just like a goddess to Qiao Qing.

Perhaps Qin Yan knew something..Qiao Qing thought. However before she could ask anything, Qin Yan got up and left after saying goodbye. She left Qiao Qing to sort out her thoughts and consider everything carefully.

The next day, Qin Yan got a call from Yun Jian. They had to visit the second suspect's house today. Since, Yun Jian was busy in other cases, this case was pending till now.

"Okay, I will directly meet you at the location," Qin Yan replied.

In the second suspect's house.

"This is a routine investigation related to organ mafia," Yun Jian informed Mr. Yu Zilong.

Meanwhile, Qin Yan looked around the house. Certificates were hung up on the wall while trophies were placed in the cabinet. She came to know from the photos and other things that Mr. Yu Zilong was a football coach.

Yu Zilong was a man with sturdy build and military haircut. He looked prim and proper in his formals and gave a disciplinary vibe. On the other hand, the first suspect had medium length hair and looked somewhat indisciplined. He had dark circles under his eyes probably because of taking care of his wife.

"It might be a routine for you, but it is very worrying for me that police has reached my house that too in case of organ mafia. I mean, should I be concerned?" Yu Zilong asked glancing at Qin Yan.

Yun Jian replied to Yu Zilong, "Don't worry, you are innocent till proven guilty. The law says this."

Yu Zilong laughed, "Here, you are guilty till proven innocent. It is a known fact."

"That's why, police asks questions while law gives the decision," Yun Jian said, "That's why I am asking if anybody contacted you in case of your son illegally."

"Yes, they contacted me. In fact, they contact me everyday like my maid and my driver," Yu Zilong said sarcastically, "Ma'am, what are you talking about! How is this possible...?"

"What is your routine?" Yun Jian interrupted Yu Zilong.

"Oh routine..in the day..home-academy-hospital..nothing new..the same routine everyday," Yu Zilong answered.

"It must be difficult for you, handling everything. Family, sick son, mother..How do you manage everything?" Qin Yan asked.

"Career is for family, my son is my family and my family is my responsibility. I don't think that these are different things. It's a single thing. This single thing is very important. Handling this is also very important. And it can be done by a little love," Yu Zilong replied.

"You do poetry," Yun Jian said sarcastically.

"The person who is seeing his son die slowly everyday since 6 years should be allowed some poetry," Yu Zilong smiled with tears in his eyes.

"Where were you on 26th?" Yun Jian interrupted Yu Zilong again.

"26th? Means this 26th? I...I was at home only, ma'am," Yu Zilong replied.

"Suppose, illegally someone contacts you and your son's life can be saved. What will you do?" Yun Jian threw another question at the man.

"Finally, I'll report it in police," Yu Zilong rubbed his chin.

"Are you sure? Your son is sick. He will get a chance to live but you will refuse? Are you such a good citizen? Or such a bad father?" Qin Yan asked.

"That is why, I said FINALLY," Yu Zilong turned to face Qin Yan, "First I will save my son and become a good father. Then I will report it in police and become a good citizen. Kill two birds with the same stone," Yu Zilong laughed.

Qin Yan and Yun Jian looked at each other and finally left the suspect's house.

"Nobody wants to give ideal answers. Everybody is being practical, that yes we will first save our family member," Yun Jian was irritated, "People have become smarter after watching the crime shows on television. He is like a poet but I think that he is a good person. I feel like I have wasted my time by coming here. He does not fit in our radar."

"How does he not fit? He is one of the suspects of the case and there is a reason why he is a suspect," Qin Yan analyzed, "I think something is wrong here. You should get your subordinates to keep an eye on him continuously," She advised Yun Jian.

"Okay, I'll see to it what can be done," Yun Jian considered Qin Yan's advice seriously.

As Yun Jian dropped Qin Yan onto the campus, the latter got a call from Xu Tong.

"Chairman, I have mailed you five resumes. Do check them out and call me back!" Xu Tong informed Qin Yan.

"Sure."

Now that the new building of Starlight Entertainment was set, it was time to recruit new artists. The loyal artists of Starlight were set and thus it was time for new people in the company.

After reaching her dorm, Qin Yan checked her email and called Xu Tong back.

"Are there five people for the interview tomorrow?" Qin Yan asked.

Xu Tong replied, "Yes, although they didn't graduate from a famous university, they are very driven individuals."

Qin Yan had three recruitment principles, first was their character, the second was their ability, and the last was their university degree.

Since they were mostly new graduates, there would be a three-month probation period. The fittest would survive!

Those who should stay would stay, and those who should leave would naturally not stay!

If they were unwilling to leave, they would have to move to another department and start another probation period. If they still failed, there was no other solution than to ask them to leave.

Qin Yan looked at the resumes of these five people in her laptop and said to Xu Tong, "Then let them come to the company for an interview at 10 am!"

Xu Tong agreed, "Okay, I'll inform them immediately."

"You don't have to do everything by yourself. Hand over the job to Human Resource department," Qin Yan instructed.

"Yes ma'am!"
