I won't forgive her

Madam Xi's expression stiffened when she heard the word "daughter-in-law". This was undoubtedly a mockery to her. 1

She had always felt that her two sons were the most outstanding in the world and that the other half they would find in the future would definitely be compatible and equally outstanding.

Xi Ting had always been considerate of Madam Xi's status and thought that she was still his elder. Even though he felt uncomfortable, he didn't say anything too extreme. He was afraid that their relationship would worsen. 

He knew how Madam Xi treated him when he was young. He didn't want to fall out with Madam Xi over this.

No matter what, Madam Xi was his mother, his closest kin. Xi Ting really wanted to settle this conflict.

But no matter how capable he was, he couldn't possibly handle everything perfectly.

As the conflict between Xi Ting and Madam Xi intensified, Qin Yan woke up in the lounge. She had heard everything Madam Xi and Xi Ting had said. Including what Nie Mianmian had said.

When she heard Madam Xi say that she would never acknowledge her as her daughter-in-law, she couldn't help but feel hurt even though she knew that Madam Xi didn't like her.
