Nie Mianmian was getting impatient, "I said we should find a place to talk. What do you think?"

"Sure," Qin Yan thought about it and felt that they needed to have a good talk. She nodded and said, "I want to have a good talk with you too."

The Xi Corporation had a cafe. They took the elevator to the cafe downstairs.

Nie Mianmian said, "Qin Yan, I hope you can be more realistic. If Aunt Xi doesn't agree with you and Ah Ting being together, do you think you can still be happy together? Aunt Xi is still Ah Ting's biological mother. He can't possibly abandon his own mother for you."

"Oh, I understand," Qin Yan pretended to be enlightened, "Miss Nie is here to persuade me to break up with Xi Ting. Am I right?"

Nie Mianmian was furious, "If you know your place, you should know what's best for you."

The waiter from the cafe came over with the coffee they'd ordered. Qin Yan took her cup and slowly took a sip. Then, she looked up at Nie Mianmian and said, "I'll be honest with Miss Nie too. Although you've put in so much effort for my sake, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you."

Qin Yan took another sip of her coffee and smiled, "I'm sorry, I don't intend to break up with my boyfriend. I don't have that intention now, and I won't have it in the future. Miss Nie, you don't have to persuade me anymore."

"Qin Yan, do you really think that you can be the Young Madam of the Xi family just because you're clinging onto him?" Nie Mianmian was furious at Qin Yan for being so insensible.

"That's between me and my boyfriend. This has nothing to do with Miss Nie, right?" Qin Yan's tone was still calm, but there was a hint of coldness to it, "It's not good for Miss Nie to be so worried about other people's family matters."

"Although the Nie and Xi families are long-time friends, and you and my boyfriend have been friends since you were young, Miss Nie is still an outsider, after all. If it wasn't for you, I would've been the one getting married to Ah Ting. You're the shameless one who stepped in between us and snatched the man I like."

"Qin Yan, what must I do for you to leave Ah Ting?" Nie Mianmian clenched her fists, "How much do you want? Is 100 million enough? This amount is enough for you to live a good life. As long as you're willing to break up with Ah Ting, I'll pay for it."

To Nie Mianmian, this sum of money was already an astronomical figure. She felt that she had already offered Qin Yan a lot. If Qin Yan was sensible, she would take this sum of money and break up with Xi Ting as soon as possible.
