Qiao Qing cries hard

Sun Qinglian sniffled, pouted, and raised her head, when she saw that Jia Yuze wasn't even looking at her. Instead he was frowning as he was looking at Qiao Qing.1

Qiao Qing raised her head and looked at Jia Yuze blankly. The scene that Jia Yuze saw when he came in was all the family members, and Sun Qinglian with red eyes, as if she had just cried. Mother Qiao and her appeared completely indifferent to her.

Old Madam Xia was guarding Sun Qinglian, and Sun Qinglian had a pitiful look on her face. No matter how one looked at it, Sun Qinglian seemed to have been the one who was bullied, and her mother and Qiao Qing had been the ones who had bullied Sun Qinglian.

When Jia Yuze came in, Qiao Qing's instinctive first reaction was that Jia Yuze might be questioning her about Sun Qinglian. But when she looked at Jia Yuze, she saw that Jia Yuze was only looking at her, and there was no other person in his eyes.

Even if Sun Qinglian had been crying, her brother would still think that she had been bullied by Sun Qinglian.

But she hadn't trusted Jia Yuze like that. That was until just now. When faced with Jia Yuze's unwavering belief in her, Qiao Qing knew that from this moment onward she would truly trust Jia Yuze. She would trust him exactly like she trusted her brother.

"What did you do? Why is my Qing Qing crying so badly?" Jia Yuze asked Sun Qinglian sternly.

Before Sun Qinglian could spout any lies, Qiao Qing raised her head and asked Jia Yuze, "Brother Yuze, why are you here?"

How did he know they were here? How did he know the address of Old Madam Xia's home? Qiao Qing had some questions.

Jia Yuze reached out to wipe the tears away from Qiao Qing's face, "Today was our date and you were not responding to my calls or messages. You have never done this before so I got worried. So I went to your house to find you, but your housekeeper said that you had come here, sand that's why I came here to find you."

"But what happened here? Why are you crying?" Jia Yuze was worried.

"Yuze, let's leave from here," Mother Qiao did not want Jia Yuze to be here. 

Although Old Madam Xia was biased, she was not stupid.

How could she let him just leave? She said quickly, "Why be in such a hurry? How about leaving after Young Master Jia has finished dinner here?"

Old Madam Xia spoke very naturally. 

Xia Ling sneered. Now that Jia Yuze was here, how would Old Madam leave the chance to introduce him to Sun Qinglian? However, looking at Jia Yuze's concerned expression for Qiao Qing, Xia Ling suddenly wished to see Old Madam and Xia Meng's family's faces to be slapped hard. She waited for Jia Yuze to respond.

Jia Yuze ignored Old Madam's invitation and just focused on Qiao Qing, "You still haven't answered me, why are you crying? Who bullied you?"

Before Qiao Qing could say anything, Old Madam spoke up, "Nobody bullied her. Instead, Qinglian was being bullied by her aunt. I just asked for a small request from this girl and yet she is not ready to oblige. Moreover, her mother is blatantly demeaning her own niece. I don't know when the values of Qiao family went down the drain." 

Old Madam glared at Xia Ling and Qiao Qing. Hearing the old madam, Qiao Qing sobbed harder. Because of her, her mother had to hear so much nonsense from this old lady. 

Jia Yuze hugged Qiao Qing tightly. He grasped the main point from the old madam's gibberish, "Request? What request?"

Sun Qinglian's anxiety increased. As the old madam was about to say something, Sun Qinglian stopped her, "Grandma, let it go."

Even though Sun Qinglian eyed Old Madam Xia, the latter did not understand her granddaughter's intentions. She was filled with anger towards Qiao Qing and indignation for Sun Qinglian. 

So she said, "I just asked this girl to introduce Qinglian to you, so that you can be good friends. But she is selfish and reluctant to do so."

Jia Yuze's eyes widened in disbelief. Were these people crazy? Why would any woman introduce another female to her boyfriend? Why would Qiao Qing step on her own foot? That too when Sun Qinglian had always tried to sabotage her?

"Anyway, it's good that you are here," Old Madam Xia smiled and pushed Sun Qinglian slightly forward, "This is Qiao Qing's cousin and my granddaughter Qinglian. She is very meek and doesn't know how to interact with guys. That's why I am helping her. Don't mind me. I hope you two can get together well." 

With that, old madam nudged Sun Qinglian who was frozen on the spot, "Go child. Why are you so shy?"

Seeing this drama, Jia Yuze laughed out of anger, "Sun Qinglian, did you forget my warning that I gave you in the morning or do you not take me seriously?"

Sun Qinglian felt a chill run down her smile hearing Jia Yuze's cold laugh, "No, it's not like that. I.."

Xia Ling at this time, caught the words said by Jia Yuze, "What did you say? This morning? Yuze, what does it mean?"

Jia Yuze looked at Sun Qinglian with a mocking smirk, "This girl standing before me, who her grandmother says is shy was trying to seduce me this morning. She badmouthed Qiao Qing and I had warned her to not come in front of me or badmouth Qing Qing ever. Since, that method didn't work, it seems that she has tried this new method."

Everyone present was stunned hearing Jia Yuze's words. Sun Qinglian clenched her fists in anger. Why had Jia Yuze said this in front of everyone!

"So this is the truth," Xia Ling could not leave any chance to insult these people who humiliated her daughter, "Sun Qinglian has already tried to seduce her cousin's boyfriend. Moreover, she has also badmouthed her cousin in front of her boyfriend."

She clapped slowly, "What great values! Mom, if these were the good values you were speaking of, I am truly glad that my Qiao family does not possess them."

Old Madam Xia felt like her face was slapped hard. She turned to look at Sun Qinglian. 

Sun Qinglian hurriedly shook her hands, "Grandma, it's nothing like that. Mr. Jia has misunderstood. I approached him with a lot of difficulty and that too for my cousin. I did approach him but I did not badmouth my cousin. I only told him to take care of my cousin since she has recently broken up with her boyfriend and might be emotional."

Sun Qinglian still did not learn her lesson. Seeing that the old madam might be angry with her, she pushed Qiao Qing under the bus. Sun Qinglian knew that old madam was a person with an orthodox mindset. So, when the old lady would come to know about Qiao Qing's ex-boyfriend, coupled with the fact that she had a new boyfriend so soon, the old madam would be infuriated. 

As expected, hearing that Qiao Qing had another boyfriend, Old Madam's disgust for her increased manifold.
