Stargazing

Xi Ting lowered his head and gently kissed the corner of Qin Yan's lips. He then slowly inched to the center from the corner of her lips. Slowly kissing until he reached the tips of her lips.

That protruding, full lips that were even more springy than cotton candy, yet so smooth and soft. There was nothing that could compare to them.

As he kissed the tips of her lips, he could not bear to let go.

His hands also traveled from her waist to her neck, cupping her face. His fingertips were just a little rough, which was different from her smoothness. 

Especially when he gently caressed her smooth skin, not just because Qin Yan was nervous, but also because of the slight tingling sensation his fingertips brought, she could not help but tremble as well. As if a current had traveled from her neck to her limbs.

Meanwhile, Xi Ting's burning lips moved to the corner of her lips, then shifted to her neck. His teasing finger also journeyed downward along her throat. His softer and warmer lips replacing his fingers only served to excite her more.

Qin Yan grabbed his shirt tightly, trembling even more than before. Her knees grew weak and she almost collapsed. Her legs couldn't support her own weight anymore.

Without Xi Ting's support on her waist, she'd fall bonelessly to the ground. Just as she began sliding uselessly down, Xi Ting finally caught her.

Embracing her again, Xi Ting couldn't contain his laughter. His chuckle was raspy and magnetic, attracting her to go even closer to him.

But Qin Yan's feeling that he's laughing at her weakness. She became as soft as a noodle after being kissed for merely a short while.

Qin Yan blushed, glaring at him with a pout, "I'm hungry!"

Xi Ting smiled knowingly. Her words may be true, but her intentions didn't escape Xi Ting.

Letting her off, Xi Ting kissed her nose tip, "Then let's order something. I too haven't eaten anything."

Qin Yan nodded, quickly ordering mala seafood from a restaurant. 

The previous intimacy was not resumed.

The next day, Global World Entertainment.

The entrance lobby was a grand spectacle adorned with opulent décor that blended traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern elegance. Intricately carved wooden panels, vibrant silk tapestries, and ornate chandeliers hung from the high ceilings, casting a warm and inviting glow. The expansive space was alive with the constant flow of employees, partners, and visitors, all moving with a purposeful energy.

Walking through the polished hallways, there was a series of impressive multimedia displays showcasing the company's latest blockbuster movies, hit television shows, and chart-topping music releases. The walls were adorned with larger-than-life posters featuring the company's most famous stars, creating an almost museum-like ambiance.

In a dedicated wing, a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation filled the air as a group of aspiring trainees gathered for their intensive training program. The space was designed to nurture talent and prepare these budding stars for a future in the entertainment industry.

Qin Muran had been a part of the company for a few days by now and had taken several classes, which allowed her to display her capabilities.

Everyone knew her relationship with Xi Yaohua, not to mention that she was great at winning people's favor. She had prepared small gifts for everyone when she first came in, so people supported her in one way or another.

Besides, Qin Muran's overall performance was quite impressive indeed.

With her good looks, family background, and competence, she was a downright winner in life!

As she was standing outside the training room, some pretty girls walked over and greeted Qin Muran, "Muran, why haven't you gone inside yet?" 

"Xiaoshi, Nini."

Qin Muran greeted them back.

"I just came. Let's go in together!"

"Sure."

Xiaoshi and Nini were trainees at Global World Entertainment, both just fifteen or sixteen years old this year. However, they had been training for two or three years by now. They were in high school at the moment, but their results weren't very pleasing. Their minds were entirely focused on debuting, all in the hope that they would gain fame overnight.

There weren't many trainees like Qin Muran, who only started training at the age of nineteen. After all, most of them had begun training at a young age, some even giving up on their studies. 

"I heard that Coconut TV is working on a variety show," Qin Muran said out of nowhere in a soft voice.

"A show?" The two of them were slightly stunned, "What show?"

"I heard that it's a show that produces idols of the new generation. If one can make their way to the finals, they can debut right away!" Qin Muran explained.

"Really?" The two of them were stupefied. "How did you get to know that?"

Qin Muran replied with a reserved smile, "I heard it from my relative. She works for Coconut TV."

Of course, she wasn't informed by a relative; it was Xi Yaohua who told her that.

However, that didn't stop her from using it to bribe people for their favor.

The two girls became excited immediately.

"You have a relative who works at Coconut TV? You're amazing! By the way, how much do you know?"

Debut! Who didn't want to debut! They had been working so hard all for the sake of debuting, hadn't they?!

"Every entertainment company will send their own trainees to take part in the show, and in the end, several winners will be selected for debut, either as a group or solo."

"Really?" Nini asked eagerly, "How is it operated then?"

Qin Muran shook her head, "I don't know the details either. She couldn't tell me much, as they are still at the preparation stage. But if there's a chance, the company will notify us."

"But there are so many trainees in our company. It's impossible for everyone to take part, right?" Nini queried with a frown.

"That's for sure!" Xiaoshi nodded. "That's why we have to be outstanding enough for them to notice!"

"In that case, we have to work hard from now on, so that we might get a chance to take part in the competition and debut earlier!" Qin Muran pumped them up.

"Muran, you're such a good person!" Nini looked at her with gratitude, "You're the only one who will share such information with us!"

Knowing it early meant that they could start preparing for it early, and the time in between made all the difference in the world.

"We are all in this together anyway! It's best if we can debut together," Qin Muran remarked in a righteous, generous manner.

"Not everyone is as selfless as you!" The two of them were having mixed feelings.

"Alright, let's not talk anymore and get inside!" Having achieved the desired effect, Qin Muran smiled, "The class is starting."

The air was crisp and invigorating, carrying with it a hint of pine and earthy fragrances. As Jia Yuze and Qiao Qing hiked higher, the distant city lights began to fade, allowing the brilliance of the night sky to gradually reveal itself.

The moon, a gentle and luminous orb, cast a silvery glow upon the landscape, illuminating their way. The path was bordered by a tapestry of wildflowers, their delicate petals softly swaying in the breeze. The sound of crickets filled the air, composing a natural symphony that accompanied them on their journey.

Jia Yuze had promised Qiao Qing that he would fulfill her wish of stargazing that night. Because of the last incident with her grandmother, Qiao Qing's mood was not good. So, Jia Yuze was trying his level best to cheer his girlfriend up.

As expected, Qiao Qing's eyes lit up when Jia Yuze told her that they would go stargazing that night. Now, Qiao Qing was very excited to fulfill one of her wishes from her bucket list. 

At last, the couple reached a clearing near the mountain's peak. A cozy blanket lay spread out on the grass, adorned with plump cushions, inviting them to sit and gaze upwards. Jia Yuze produced a small portable telescope, placing it gently on the ground beside them. The night sky stretched out before them; an infinite canvas painted with thousands of shimmering stars.

"Wow, a telescope? Brother Yuze, you thought of everything, didn't you?" Qiao Qing's eyes were shining like stars.

"Obviously, I wanted this to be a night that you would always remember," Jia Yuze gazed into Qiao Qing's eyes and said softly.

The constellations were etched across the heavens like ancient stories, each one telling its own tale. Orion's Belt gleamed brightly, while the Big Dipper seemed to dip its ladle into a pool of stardust. The Milky Way unfurled across the sky, a river of light weaving through the darkness, captivating their eyes and hearts.  1

Qiao Qing nestled closer to Jia Yuze, their fingers entwined, as they tilted their heads back to take in the celestial spectacle. They whispered soft words to each other, occasionally pointing out shooting stars that streaked across the sky, leaving ephemeral trails of light in their wake.
