Accurate diagnosis
Xi Ting looked at Qin Yan and spoke, "Uncle Nie's engagement news spread over the college campus. As Uncle Nie was rich and handsome, people knew that he would marry according to his status and this was when Su Cen was thoroughly ridiculed by everyone for dreaming big. Subsequently, in a few days, Su Cen disappeared from everyone's eyes. No one knew where she went and even now, I only got to see her photo but I could not gain the information if she is alive or not."1
Qin Yan was surprised by the fact that even Xi Ting was unable to find out Su Cen's current status.
Xi Ting was still not finished, "But when we came to this country, we found a person who has a similar face as yours. However, her name is different. And as we noticed the similarity between you and Mrs. Han, Han Cheng also did so. Since, Mrs. Han has no other relatives, he himself is curious about you and thus he has asked me to bring you there today. Mrs. Han will also be coming and we will mostly discuss this matter after our meeting."
"What do you think? Do you want to come?" Xi Ting asked finally. Since it was Qin Yan's matter, he wanted her to decide. If she didn't wish to get into this mess, he would ensure that she didn't have to.
Qin Yan thought for a while before nodding in affirmation. She wished to know the truth. Even if not for her sake, but for the original owner's sake.
"Fine, then get ready. We need to leave in half an hour."

As the day waned and the golden hues of sunset painted the sky, the quartet found themselves gathered in the elegant lobby of a prestigious hotel. The atmosphere was tinged with a blend of anticipation and professionalism, yet an air of casual camaraderie pervaded the scene, masking the deeper currents beneath the surface.
Xi Ting and Han Cheng greeted each other.
Qin Yan also greeted Fang Zichen, "Mrs. Han."
Fang Zichen was not surprised to see Qin Yan as she had already been informed by Han Cheng that Qin Yan would be present. Qin Yan was the only reason that she had decided to accompany Han Cheng for his boring business meeting.
Fang Zichen did not understand why she was so fond of Qin Yan. Even though they had only met twice, she had a great affinity towards Qin Yan.
"You can call me Auntie Fang," Fang Zichen smiled at Qin Yan warmly.
Qin Yan also felt warm in her heart hearing Fang Zichen's words. She agreed, "Okay, Auntie Fang."
Xi Ting glanced at Qin Yan and said, "We have booked an adjoining room for you and Mrs. Han. You can enjoy yourselves till we finish our meeting."
Qin Yan nodded. Fang Zichen looked at Han Cheng and he also nodded in agreement with Xi Ting.
Thus, Qin Yan and Fang Zichen went to the adjoining room while Xi Ting and Han Cheng got seated for their meeting.
The meeting room exuded opulence, adorned with sleek modern furniture and panoramic windows offering a stunning view of the city skyline. Soft ambient lighting cast a warm glow across the room, creating an inviting yet professional ambiance.
At the center of the room stood a long, polished mahogany table, meticulously set with leather-bound notepads, sleek ballpoint pens, and crystal water glasses.
The setting exuded sophistication, a perfect backdrop for the discussions to come. "Alright, let's get started," Han Cheng began, his tone carrying a mixture of business acumen and familiarity.
Xi Ting asked for the important documents from Tong Chunian, which he handed over. Xi Ting's eyes attentive, "Mr. Han, I've gone over the presentation again, and I believe we're on track."
A hushed air of formality enveloped the room as the meeting began. Both Xi Ting and Han Cheng, poised and composed, exchanged polite smiles before delving into the heart of the matter. Their laptops glowed with spreadsheets and presentation slides, evidence of the thorough preparation that had gone into this negotiation. The clinking of fine china and occasional sips of water punctuated the conversation, underscoring the seriousness of the discussion.
As the two men delved into discussions about market trends, investment strategies, and projected growth, their conversation flowed smoothly, a testament to the rapport they had developed over time.
Across from them, Qin Yan and Fang Zichen found themselves in a more relaxed setting, occupying a cozy sitting area just beyond the conference room.
Qin Yan reclined comfortably in an armchair, her attention occasionally drifting toward the muted sounds of the business conversation. Beside her, Fang Zichen sipped a cup of tea, her gaze focused on the city lights that were gradually illuminating the evening.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Fang Zichen gazed out of the windows.
Qin Yan also looked out and replied, "Yes, just looking at the city scene silently offers peace to my heart."
Fang Zichen smiled at Qin Yan, "I feel the same."
Qin Yan gazed at Fang Zichen and asked suddenly, "Auntie Fang, do you mind if I ask why is your health so poor?"
"It's okay, I am just weak."
"Auntie Fang, I am studying medicine. And trust me, I am very good at it. I can help you," Qin Yan said with a proud and determined expression.
Fang Zichen found Qin Yan's look cute but she was also intrigued by the fact that Qin Yan was studying medicine. She asked, "Which year are you in?"
"Second year. But I am very good at it. I can help you recover."
Fang Zichen smiled and felt that even if she knew that her condition could not be cured, she should give in to Qin Yan. So, she asked, "Let's see if you can diagnose my problem."
Qin Yan nodded confidently, "Okay please stretch your hand."
Fang Zichen stretched her hand and Qin Yan examined her pulse seriously.
After a minute, Qin Yan sighed.
"What do you think? What is wrong with me?"
Qin Yan took a deep breath, "Auntie Fang, you were pregnant once and during your labour, you suffered extreme blood loss. It was a miracle that you survived that time. However, even though you survived then, your body suffered a huge blow. You have been extremely weak as your body is no longer capable of absorbing the nutrients as it would have done in optimal condition. So, even if you are taking good care of yourself, you still get dizzy often."
Fang Zichen's eyes widened in shock on hearing Qin Yan. Her condition was exactly the same as Qin Yan said.
She stuttered, "How…how do you know?"
"Auntie Fang, I told you I am very good at this. Now do you trust me?"
Fang Zichen nodded somberly, "I trust you, but what use is it? As you said, my body cannot absorb the nutrients well. Even if we know it, there is no cure."
Qin Yan maintained her reassuring stance, placing a comforting hand on Fang Zichen's shoulder. Seeing the latter in a helpless situation made her unhappy. She said, "Auntie Fang, your condition can be treated."
Tears welled up in Fang Zichen's eyes, as she had heard these words in rare times. Usually every doctor would reply in negation that she could not be treated. She looked at Qin Yan with a curious and hopeful face, "How?"

As the hours passed, the excitement surrounding the meeting reached its peak. Han Cheng and Xi Ting's business plans unfolded before them, each revelation fueling their ambitions.
Xi Ting and Han Cheng sat across the table, their business meeting finally coming to an end. The hotel room hummed with the anticipation of a successful partnership; the air thick with the scent of possibility. The two men exchanged smiles and nodded, satisfied with the outcome of their discussions.
As the meeting drew to a close, Xi Ting and Han Cheng leaned back in their chairs, a sense of achievement mingling with the weight of the decisions ahead. With a firm handshake and a final exchange of pleasantries, they acknowledged the significance of their encounter. The suite, once charged with anticipation, now held a sense of accomplishment, as if the very walls bore witness to the culmination of a pivotal moment in their respective careers.
As the meeting concluded, Qin Yan and Fang Zichen were called in the room. The rest of the employees of both the men were dismissed as the meeting was over and personal vendetta was to be addressed then.
The two women came in with smiles on their faces. It was evident from their faces that they had a very good time with each other. Their husbands did not know what they talked about but the two ladies appeared evidently closer to each other.
Han Cheng got up from his seat and walked towards Fang Zichen, "How have you been? Are you okay? You don't feel unwell, do you?"
Fang Zichen held Han Cheng's hand for support and shook her head with a smile on her face, "I am fine. Don't worry."
