"Why would it? War, life, and death are at the hands of those who have more power. Kana, remember this world has always been those with power rule, while those without enough strength have no choice but to submit. " Yuthia said with a smile. To her, a mortal was nothing but an ant, so she could care less how many die.  0

"Yuthia, you shouldn't say it like that..." Sei let out a sigh. "Kana. What you are doing is showing your strength. By doing so, those who wish to do you harm will think otherwise. As of now, you may be letting Aoi kill these people, but this will act as a deterrent for the times to come. Kana, as you are responsible for this, make sure you watch with open eyes." 

"She is right. This world is filled with many evils. If you wish to be able to accomplish your goal, you will need to get used to this sight. These kids may be innocent today, but there is no telling what they could be used for later on. In my home country, there is a thing called suicide magic bombers. They use regular civilians, people who have no ability whatsoever, and will send them towards their enemy to explode the magic bomb,  taking out the enemy and themselves with them. They would never use soldiers for such a thing since soldiers are highly valued assets during war. While a child, woman, elderly, people who have no use can suddenly become a weapon. But their only use would be to use their lives to kill as many as they can." Creige said his expression was not too good. It was as if he was remembering some bad from his past.

"Mmm… I understand. I will not look away." Kana replied, her eyes fixated on the people in line. 

The clouds overhead became a bright red and orange color that seemed as if they would catch on fire at any moment. Some of the humans in the line were starting to sweat and becoming scared. But as it was, even if they wished to run now, it was already too late. The mass of clouds spanned for kilometers on all sides except over the city.  They could only watch on in horror as their lives, and the surrounding area was about to become a wasteland.

An evil smile formed on Aoi's face as her eyes began to shine as if she was taking pleasure in the frightened looks of those around her. As an elemental, she bore no hate to anyone but to anyone who dares to offend her or the one she is bound to, she will never show any mercy unless told otherwise. Aoi let out a laugh as she shouted in a cute little voice: "Humans! Due to your impudence towards my master, I will now send you all to hell. [Magma Fall]!"

On Aoi's words, the sky opened up, and the bright red and orange clouds seemed to fall from the sky like a glass of water turned upside down. A torrent of hot magma fell to the ground covering it in red hot magma, burning everything it touched to ash without exception. Kana watched as Aoi danced playfully in the air as the screams of the humans in the line filled the area. 

The scene was gruesome and shocking. But Kana did not take her eyes away. This was the choice she made. She had to accept it all, or she would never be able to complete her future goals. This was her path. The path of destruction she had chosen for herself. But even so, when watching children die in front of you as she was now. Kana could not stop the tears that flowed from her eyes.

Two big strong arms wrapped around her from behind. She felt a soft sensation on the top of her head. "You did well to keep watching. But now is not the time to cry. We still need to finish what we have started. Kiliffia is waiting for you to save her." 

Kana nodded her head and wiped her tears. She knew Creige was right. "Mmm… Let's go….  Aoi, come on we are heading into the city now."

"Coming~!" Aoi cheerfully shouted.

"What!?" Emperor Botus had sweat dripping down his forehead when he heard the sudden news of what had happened at the gate. "You're saying four beastkin and a flying water bug just created a waste land of twenty kilometers around my capital!? What the hell are you guys doing!? Why the hell do I train and feed you people if you can not even deal with a few beastkin!?"

"Your Majesty! There was nothing we could do. They are all incredibly strong! Just the waterbug alone was what destroyed the surrounding area and killed a few hundred citizens! They spared no one!" A soldier who looked like he had just witnessed hell replied.  He was on his hands and knees with his head pressed against the red carpet. He did not dare look up at the emperor when he had to give bad news such as this.

Emperor Botus palms were sweating. On top of powerful beastkins showing up, he had also heard that the captured beastkins he needed to return were trapped behind some kind of godly barrier.  The only thing he could be thankful about was that the one named Kiliffia was not harmed in any way since she came here.

As Emperor was planning his next move the door to his throne room flew open. "Father Emperor! What is the meaning of taking away my fuck toys!? Especially the one I have deemed to be my bride!?"

A fat three chinned young man came waddling in screaming at the top of his lungs. Emperor Botus heard his son's words and looked at his useless son who did nothing but play around all day and the rage he was trying to hold in finally burst out. "You fucking useless peice of shit! Look what you've done! You have brought in the gods of destruction down onto my empire, all because you can not contain your lust! You would rather play around with some filthy animals than do your job as a prince. Someone come here and hold this useless piece of shit. I will use his head as a peace offering!"

Two soldiers quickly went forward and grabbed the fat three chinned young man keeping him from being able to move. "Father Emperor! Why must I lose my head for a few beastkins!?"
