"I'm just hypothetically speaking," she retorted. "I wonder who the girl will end up with," her tone was nothing short of conspiratorial.

"I don't want to think about a situation where either of them is sad or heartbroken," Lu Lian commented with a sour expression.

"Don't make that face. You won't see either of them sad," Lu Bao said with a sigh.

"Why?" Lu Lian asked, clearly surprised by the turn of events.

"Because, in the end, Lu Lijun will win the girl." She broke out into a chuckle.

"W-what?" Her mind couldn't process Lu Bao's words.

Lu Bao began matter-of-factly. "Lu Lijun likes the things that his elder brothers like, and in the end, the two end up giving that thing to Lu Lijun. So he will win the girl." She shrugged.

"That was not funny. He's just a little boy," Lu Lian said in an angry voice.

"Don't be angry! Remember what he said? He would choose the left dress if these brothers chose the same." Lu Lian simply hummed in reply.

"At that time, he'll say 'If my brothers chose her, then I will choose her, too!'" She mimicked Lu Lijun's voice and did it very well.

Lu Lian broke into a chuckle. "I admit, that was funny. If Lu Lijun sees us, he will make our brothers torture you mercilessly."

"That's impossible." Jiang Yuyan said happily. "I took after mom."

"And I took after dad," the other said proudly.

Jiang Yuyan harrumphed, unable to refute this logic.

"If you are that eager, allow this doctor to reveal the results of this test to you." He began in a playful tone.

"What's that?" she grumbled.

"When you will observe our the DNA's under the electron microscope, you will be surprised to see them dancing hand in hand, shouting 'we are the best brother and sister in the world.' Don't be surprised if my chromosomes genes spell out BROTHER and your SISTER." He gave her a sharp look.

"I am surer that yours will spell out 'crazy,'" she said with a small smile on her face. To be honest, she particularly enjoyed this banter.

"And yours will spell out 'angry.'" Jiang Yang countered as he added, "Well, a crazy brother and an angry sister sound like a good combination." He walked towards the couch and sat down on it.

"Still, how could you talk to me like that? Do you know of any brother who would do that?" There was a trace of anger in her voice, but it didn't change the calm expression on Jiang Yang's face.

"I do," he said, raising his hand.

"I know! I know that since my birth. Can't you be like a real elder brother who acts seriously with his younger sister?"

"Do you want me to be like a brother, who ends up beating every boy approaching his sister? I didn't learn Kung Fu to waste my energy on such things," he said indignantly.
