After the breakfast, where the entire family was happy, Jiang Yuyan was the only one who was embarrassed and sulking inside over a certain someone.  0

"You are coming with me today," said Lu Lijun to Jiang Yuyan as they were about to step out of Lu Mansion to get into their cars to go to the office.

"I have my car and driver," she countered.

"I have something important to talk about with you," he said, not giving heed to her anger that she tried to suppress in front of other family members.

"We can talk once we reach the office," she said.

"I am not that patient," he countered. 

Lu Jinhai and Lu Chen, who walked ahead of them, heard their argument. Lu Jinhai turned to look at them and asked, "What is so important that you can't wait for her to reach the office?"

"Last night, we had an interesting discussion….."

"Father, we are getting late," Jiang Yuyan interrupted Lu Lijun, as she looked at her wristwatch and then looked at Lu Lijun, "Hurry up, I don't want to be late because of you."

The four walked ahead, and Jiang Yuyan gave out a sigh of relief. When it came to honesty, this guy was the epitome of it that could put her into trouble anytime without caring for the world.

When they reached the car, Lu Lijun opened his car's front passenger door for her, and she sat inside. Closing the door, Lu Lijun went to the driver's side and took his seat as he drove away. 

Once they left the Lu Mansion and crossed a certain distance, Jiang Yuyan asked, "What do you want to talk about?"

"You will know," Lu Lijun answered, and just as they were about to get on the highway, he turned his car on the other way at the intersection.

It surprised Jiang Yuyan, and she looked at him, "Why did you take another way?"

"That one is crowded," he replied, not minding how bothered she looked. 

It puzzled her even more, "Roads are meant to be crowded and not be empty."

Lu Lijun suddenly stopped the car on one side of that empty road on which hardly one or two cars passed by after a long gap of time. He unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned towards her as he stared into her eyes.

In reflex, Jiang Yuyan sank back in her seat only to hear him again. "But that crowded road would have disturbed my morning treat."

Jiang Yuyan sure understood his intentions as his eyes carried the same look that always turned her weaker. She immediately moved her hand to unbuckled her seatbelt, not knowing what she thought to do at that moment. Was she about to run away from him before he could do something that he should not?

But, even before her hand could reach the seatbelt lock, Lu Lijun held her hand with one hand, and the other one moved to grab the back of her neck to pull her towards him as he kissed her.

This all happened with speed unknown to her, and it was late before she could stop him.

He captured her soft lips in his warm and demanding ones, sucking and licking them softly. As she didn't use much force to push him, he, too, didn't have to use force to kiss her. 

With her one hand held by him and her other hand trying to push him away but ended up clutching him at the arm, she had no other way but to let him kiss her. She wanted to push him away, but she couldn't stop melting in his desire when he sucked and nibbled her lips gently. It was as if she was getting used to his advances.

Though Jiang Yuyan didn't respond to the kiss, she neither stopped him.

Lu Lijun parted away to look at her, who had closed her eyes. He moved his hand from the back of her neck to caress her cheek. She opened her eyes to look at him, whose face was still closer to hers and just inches away. 

"Don't you try to run away from me in the morning? There can be no day that would start without wishing my wife good morning," he spoke. His voice was hoarse and calm but held the hidden warning in it. "I couldn't have done this in office, and I didn't have the patience to wait till you finish your work."

Looking at him closely and hearing what he said, she could only gulp as her moist and puzzled eyes stared at him. She could feel her heart beating faster just at his intense gaze on her. Before, her heart used to race because she was scared and anxious, but now it raced for another reason. His advances and his touch had started to affect her differently. The only way she had was to avoid him, but this guy wouldn't let her be.

Seeing her lost, he asked, "Understood?"

Jiang Yuyan gulped again because of that warning sight and words but didn't say yes or no. 

"We are getting late for the office," she said, hoping he would let her go. 

Lu Lijun nodded lightly and finally released her captured hand as he moved back, allowing her to breathe comfortably.

Lu Lijun drove away towards the office. Till they reached the office, the two didn't talk. Jiang Yuyan continued to look outside the window silently while Lu Lijun focussed on the road ahead, giving her time to get over what he had just done. He knew he couldn't expect her to act normally and start talking to him the next moment. He needed to push her limits but then needed to give time too.

When they reached Lu Corporation, Jiang Yuyan breathed deeply before getting out of the car. She needed to look like President Lu and not any ordinary woman who was affected by one stubborn guy's action.

Lu Lijun acted normally as the two entered the Lu Corporation building and everyone who came across them greeted them.
