Lick My Shoes Clean

Connor had a calm expression despite everyone's ridicule.

He remained unmoving at his spot and did not refute.

To him, these people were merely a bunch of clowns.

In their eyes, however, Connor was behaving cowardly.

May and Lily watched Connor stand there blankly and unmoving. Their eyes were filled with contempt as they scorned Connor.

They had never seen a man remain so indifferent after being humiliated so badly. He was utterly hopeless.

The two of them now understood one thing; even though Connor had become wealthy, it still did not change the fact that he was a loser.

May was starting to feel regret. Sleeping with someone like Connor would stain her reputation.

She was even starting to think that sleeping with Todd Knowles would be much better than with Connor.

"Are you all done laughing?"

Connor lifted his head to look at Todd, who was standing in front of him, and asked softly.

"No... Not yet. HAHAHA! Let me laugh for a bit more."

Todd clutched his stomach and laughed wildly non-stop.

Connor did not say a word after hearing what Todd said. He continued standing there blankly.

Lily and May watched Connor with speechless expressions.

It took a while for Todd to finish laughing. He looked at Connor and said, "Alright. Since you've brought the money, I won't make things difficult for you. Lick my shoes clean and I'll let you all leave!"

Connor's gaze grew cold when he heard Todd's words. He lifted his head and looked at Todd.

Suddenly, the entire room became quiet.

Todd saw that Connor looked like he did not want to lick his shoes. Todd said with a terrifying expression, "Are you f*cking deaf? I told you to lick my shoes clean. You didn't f*cking hear me or what?"

"I've given you the money. What else do you want?"

Connor said to Todd in a low voice.

Right now, Connor did not want to expose his own identity, so he did not fuss over what Todd had said earlier.

However, asking him to lick someone's shoe had crossed the line. 

"Didn't you hear me say what I want? Lick my shoes clean, and then, you can scram with them!"

Todd obviously did not intend to let them leave with Connor.

After all, the two girls—May and Lily—could be regarded as beauties, and chancing upon them once was not easy.

That was why he deliberately made things difficult for Connor. If Connor really kneeled down to lick Todd's shoes clean, Todd would find other ways to embarrass him.

"Connor, why are you just standing there? Hurry up and lick. We can leave when you're done licking!"

May quickly shouted when she saw Connor standing there unmoving.

He never expected May to say something like that. After all, he was here to save the two of them!

Todd said to Connor while laughing.

Connor remained expressionless at his spot and did not utter a single word.

"Todd, stop messing around!"

Todd looked confusedly at Peter. He did not know why Peter had stopped him.

"Since Connor has brought the money, stop making things difficult for him. Let them go!"

"I told you to let him go. Didn't you hear me?" Peter bellowed coldly.

Todd looked at Peter and hesitated for a moment before speaking, "Alright, consider yourself lucky today. Take these two b*tches and scram. Don't let me see any of you again in the future..."

When May and Lily heard what Todd said, they quickly ran toward Connor's direction.

A few minutes later, Connor left Dusk with May and Lily.

Lily turned to glance at Connor and said to him disdainfully, "Connor, I heard that you're only willing to lend us money because May agreed to sleep with you. Is that right?"

"Hmm, does that have anything to do with you?" Connor asked coldly.

"Of course it does. How can someone like you sleep with May? Why don't you take a look in the mirror!"

Lily said with contempt. She then added, "We'll pay you back. But regarding May sleeping with you, dream on. Let's go, May!"

After Lily said that, she proceeded to drag May away and wanted to leave. She had never uttered a single thank you to Connor from the beginning to the end.

Naturally, May did not want to sleep with Connor. After all, she was still a virgin. How could she sleep with someone like Connor?

She turned around without hesitation and wanted to leave.

"The two of you can leave if you dare. If I can save you two from Todd Knowles, then I can also get him to capture you two again. That's why I think the two of you better consider it thoroughly!"

Connor suddenly shouted just as May and Lily were about to turn around and leave.

"How could I possibly let you get tainted by a person like him?"

Lily yelled while staring at May with her wide eyes. It was as if she cared about May very much.

"If you feel bad, I'm fine with you spending the night with me instead!"

Connor said to Lily with a meaningful expression.

"..."

When Lily heard what Connor said, she immediately let go of May's hand without hesitation. She then whispered, "Don't worry, May. I won't tell a single person about this!"

Lily said and quickly strode far away. She was scared that Connor would suddenly force her to stay.

Meanwhile, May stared hopelessly at Lily's back, not knowing what to say.

Connor hailed a cab and said to May, "Don't just stand there. Get in the cab!"

May stood at her spot and hesitated for a moment. She then gritted her teeth and followed Connor into the cab.
