While listening to Ezra's rambling, Charles kept his movement hidden and stealthily took out a black scroll from his space ring.

Following that, he released two invisible strings, let them coil around the scroll, and turned the scroll invisible.

Then, he controlled those strings and let the scroll move towards the front.

He moved the scroll towards the front and soon squinted his eyes.

At that moment, he saw a unique symbol engraved on both sides of the black-robed mages' arm areas and got startled inside.

It was a triangle symbol colored yellow on top, red at bottom-right, and blue at bottom-left.

"Destiny Conquerors!" He said in a shocked tone.

Stunned by his sudden words, Ezra stopped speaking and showed an interesting smile.

"It seems you are not an ignorant person like the usual guys from the empires. Hmm, the people of Miracle City always invite Death Mages from the Destiny Conquerors to do the funeral ceremony rituals. Do you know how this organization formed-?"

Just as he was about to give him a detailed history of that organization, he suddenly turned his gaze towards the right side graveyard entrance and spoke.

"They are here."

Meanwhile, Charles also followed his gaze and soon saw two people were walking in their direction.

The one who led the way looked like a soldier in his mid-60s, had a sharp gaze, a square jaw, short brown hair, and a thin body. He was also carrying a sword with a long blade and wore a traditional white dress. His face was calm, and he didn't show any of the signs of emotion.

That man was Demigod Rafael!

Behind him came a lady in her early twenties. She had long brown hair, fair skin, bright green eyes, and a white dress with a blue collar. Although she didn't have an aura of powerful people, everyone in the funeral ceremony felt a prying power was looking at them from all directions.

"She is the [Secret Witch] of Miracle City and has a mysterious background!" Ezra said to him in a low mutter.

"Oh? No one knows about her?" Charles raised his eyebrows in suspicion and asked in whispers.

"Yes. Not only Secret Witch's background, no one even knows her name, her power level, or anything. Some say that even Demigod Emerson knew nothing about her secrets. So, all of them in this city call her using this title, and she is also the only disciple of Elder Seer."

While Ezra was in the middle of explaining about Secret Witch, Demigod Rafael and Secret Witch arrived near the golden coffin and joined the funeral ceremony.

Meanwhile, the black-robed Death Mages continued the ceremony for the next few minutes and finally completed it by opening the coffin. Then, they poured many cups of nether sake, dropped multiple white clothes, and even placed most of his daily belongings inside the coffin. Then, they looked at all the mourners and told everyone to talk one last look at Elder Seer.

After that, one of the three Death Mages took out a bottle of a nether sake from the nearby table and poured it into the small cups. After that, he gave one cup to Demigod Rafael, another one to Secret Witch, and the remaining cups to Elder Seer's close relatives.

Meanwhile, Demigod Rafael drank the nether sake with a single gulp, took a deep breath and started giving a funeral speech.

"I stand here today to pay tribute to a kind soul, an indulgent heart, an endless visioner, and a disciplined mind — the most precious person in my life: Albert Zander.

Albert was truly extraordinary. So was our eight hundred years-old friendship. Between the two of us, he was always the stronger one. His life could be all kinds of chaos, but he never wore it on his face.

And even when he was exhausted during the planar war, he made sure he treated others as though they were precious too. His was a life that shined brightly just so the paths of others could be illuminated. His was also a life that exemplified brilliance in every capacity.

With matters that had to do with all-things-life, he was an exceptional Seer. Yet, sometimes, he peered through countless futures and gave us warnings about our life but didn't give single importance to his own. It always infuriated me. If he had given priority to his safety, he would be standing with us right now.

You're not here, Albert, but your presence lingers in the shadows.

Demigod Rafael abruptly stopped his speech after noticing he couldn't speak properly and frowned.

Meanwhile, Charles suddenly took the bluish crystal out of nowhere and broke it.

The next instant, an invisible power came out of that crystal, spread in all directions, and wholly nullified any power from alerting the Demigod and other Legend Rank Mystics.

Demigod Rafael suddenly sensed something, looked up at the sky, and soon shifted his gaze towards the three towers. As he was about to use his divine power, something obstructed him from thinking further.

Meanwhile, Secret Witch also showed a confused look on her face and tried to say something but soon froze.

She also couldn't think properly!

At that moment, one of the three black-robed Death Mages suddenly leaped towards Secret Witch and kicked her with full force.

On the other hand, an eerie black scroll appeared in front of Demigod Rafael's face and tore all of a sudden.

The next instant, a strange illusionary eye appeared out of nowhere and released a bolt of reddish-black lightning at Demigod Rafael.

A moment later, that reddish-black lightning directly landed on Rafael's body and disintegrated him into ashes.

But that lightning didn't stop there, though. It even entered the Astral Plane, erased his main consciousness, and destroyed his soul in a blink!

At that moment, Charles also noticed that the defensive array system didn't activate and felt relieved inside.

But just as he was about to breathe out a sigh of relief, a sharp pain appeared from his back, and soon an eerie black sword pierced his chest from behind!

Simultaneously, a dense amount of chaotic power entered Charles's body, corrupted his consciousness, and even invaded his soul like a powerful virus!

A suffocative feeling appeared in his mind as he tried to breathe harder but couldn't.

Before he could even understand the situation, his body bulged all of a sudden and exploded while sending flesh and blood in all directions!

Gasp!

Charles suddenly opened his eyes in a completely different place and soon let out a loud gasp.

[No abnormality detected in the Host's body or the surroundings.] Genesis's voice echoed in his head.

He abruptly stood up from his seat and looked around. At that moment, he saw that he was seated with many other familiar faces and was flying in the Airship!

At that moment, propeller machines' sound emerged from all sides of the Airship, causing his eyes to widen.

'Did I just travel back in time?' He couldn't help but get shocked inside. Although he did expect a similar thing like long-term time vision, he wasn't entirely sure of this ability's capability.
