Xia Mingzhou's friend, Lai Li, suddenly asked, "Mingzhou, did your father arrange for your cousin to enter the school?" Everyone waited for her reply.

They know it was Xia Mingzhou's father who enrolled Jiang Xiu in the school.

Jiang Xiu who had just gotten her books couldn't help but look coldy at her cousin.

Lai Li couldn't help but defend her friend and ridiculed her, "She's just telling the truth, what are you going on about Jiang Xiu? Your sister just transferred yet you're acting like her already. Maybe it won't be long before you start beating people too."

Laughter bubbled inside the room with Lai Li's statement.

Jiang Xiu's hold on the books tightened.

She wanted to retort the girl's words but she knows it would only backfire and they would use it against her sister.

She pursed her lips and left.

She knows one day all these people would see that Jiang Yue is more than what the rumors tell about her.

The corner of Xia Mingzhou's lips lifted when she saw the girl leave, but thinking about how Jiang Yue was able to enroll in the school made her gaze darken.

She stared at the young man outside the corridor.

The three of them followed Meng Deming back to Class Eleven's room.

The three students couldn't help but be surprised when they saw the state of the class.

When they arrived at Class One, it was quiet, the students were in their seats reading some books.

Now compared to Class Eleven, there's a big difference.

Seats were disarranged, some students were sleeping with their legs on their desk tables, and some were talking and sitting on their desk tables.

You can barely see any open books on the table, instead, they were used as pillows by those who are asleep.

Even with Meng Deming entering the room, the students didn't even right away go back to their seats, it was only when the Adviser told them to go back to their seats as there is an announcement then did they do so.

"Sister, let's sit together."

"No, Brother Yue will sit with me."

Jiang Xiu this time couldn't take it anymore when she heard that nickname again.

"Can you please stop calling my sister 'Brother', she's a girl."

"You don't understand. It's because Brother Yue is like a man." Kang Jinhai immediately explained.

Jiang Xiu frowned. "That isn't something nice to call someone you know."

"It is. Calling someone 'Brother' or even 'Big Brother' even if that person is younger than you is like a show of respect."

Kang Jinhai was about to retort when he felt a piercing stare. Knowing who that came from, he stopped talking and smiled at Jiang Yue.

Meng Deming gestured for them to come in.

Jiang Xiu went in and introduced herself, followed by Kang Jinhai.

Some of the students inside the room recognized Kang Jinhai so they started to talk about him.

Jiang Yue entered when it was finally her turn.

Her left hand was in her pocket while the other one is spinning her phone.

The noisy students who were still talking about Kang Jinhai and Jiang Xiu who was from Class One, quietened down when they saw the girl in front.

Jiang Yue looked simple in her basic outfit yet she gives off an intimidating aura.

Her pretty cold eyes roamed around the people inside.

There were around 50 students.

"My name's Jiang Yue." She simply stated with no unnecessary words.

The students still haven't reacted, it was as though they were still dumbstruck.

She then nodded and moved aside, giving back the floor to their Adviser.

"Go and pick whatever seat's available." The three of them went to the back, there were only two seats available at the back and one in front.

Knowing that Jiang Xiu focuses on her classes, Jing Yue gestured towards the front seat.

"You should sit there." Jiang Xiu pouted and was gonna decline but then she thought about it and nodded.

In the back area where the bad students are usually seated, it would be better for her to sit in front.

Kang Jinhai was beaming at this point and Jiang Xiu simply glared at him.

The both of them went to the back, the chairs and desks were already arranged back to their position.

She took one of the seats, leaving the other one for Kang Jinhai.

"Brother Yue, let's play a game!" Kang Jinhai grabbed his phone and opened the game 'Death League'.

Because he didn't silence his phone, the game's loading intro sound blasted into the room.

Adviser Meng put down his marker and looked toward Kang Jinhai, to which he immediately turned off his phone.

A classmate named Wan Zhu who was sitting next to them, commented, "Don't worry, Teacher Meng isn't that strict with playing games as long as we don't disrupt their discussion."2

Kang Jinhai didn't know what reaction he should have.

Has the teacher already given up on them?

Despite those thoughts he still grab his phone and turned it on, then he said to Jiang Yue, "Brother Yue, go and open the app! Oh wait, do you know that Rule of Rivalry has a mobile version too? You can just use the same account we played on the computer before."

Wan Zhu grabbed his phone also, "Do you want to team up? What rank are you by the way?"

"Immortal." Kang Jinhai boasted as he showed him his account full of medals.

"Damn, do you play solo or do you have a team? Your win rates are high!" Wan Zhu exclaimed as he checked his classmate's account.

Wan Zhu was gonna boast the account to his friend who was sitting next to him but then stopped, afraid that he will be scolded again for waking him up.

Kang Jinhai was just gonna say that the girl seating beside him carried him but when he turned his head, Jiang Yue was already asleep on the desk.

The corner of his eye twitched.

The two young men directed their attention instead to each other.
